Dr. Beth Lafont, MD

I tried to type a detailed synopsis of what happened, but I can’t do it in this few characters. Basically I am very disappointed in the care I received from Dr LaFont. I’ve been bleeding heavily since March. I had an ultrasound, a D&C and a hysteroscopy in April. I was good for about six weeks and symptoms returned. Still bleeding heavy. Now I’m anemic and have no idea why it continues. I attempted to schedule follow up, and I was told that I was discharged as a patient because I still had a balance from my surgery in April. My insurance paid their portion entirely. I just haven’t paid off mine. There are ethics involved in healthcare. As somebody who works in healthcare, I have higher expectations. I would not recommend Dr LaFont to anyone.

Dr. LaFont has been great. She is compassionate and listens carefully to my concerns. She takes time to discuss issues and explain her recommendations.

I really love dr lafont she amazing when it comes to things

She incorrectly implanted my birth control and then banned me from seeking care at any location from any doctor due to a temporary lapse in my insurance when I had no appointments with her. She does not care about patients. She actively blocks people from getting care.

I was having very heavy bleeding for 10 years my previous doctor wasn’t very concerned. After talking with Dr. Lafont about it she recommended a treatment and it’s helped a lot. She explains things so I understand and spends a good amount of time with me.

She's friendly, I feel she wants to ensure I have the best health possible.

She always listens fully to my questions/concerns and does a great job at explaining things. Also, when ever I do have concerns or let my mind wonder (the classic always think worse case scenario with everything) she is always there to help ease my mind and help me through.
