So impressed
He showed true interest and concern. I left a message and he returned it on his day off on Sunday. I have been a registered nurse for more years than I wish to say and I would rate him as one of the most responsive and caring. He made a real difference in my brother's care.

Highly Recommend Doctor; knowledgeable and Skilled
The strongest part that stood out to me is how my first visit and other visits were immediately followed by a sense of calm and attentiveness. Dr. B. Ahmed saw my needs as a patient and he sought to give real solutions! I was not made uncomfortable about what I was suffering through. Also, my visit with this doctor was during a worldwide pandemic which makes his visit extra special and this review more compelling. During a pandemic, I saw this talented doctor exercise professionalism, decorum and temperament in very stressful and risky medical environments to provide patience with the highest quality of care, a positive experience, and solution that led to remedies. My needs were met timely and fully. He made me aware of my options and explained the complexities of my issues to reduce my anxiety and apprehension. I moving forward with his strategies to meet my medical needs, and recommendations, follow-ups, and remedies were swift! Truly, He's the doctor worth recommending to others.

My father was treated by dr ahmed when he was taken to Calvert hospital with extremely low white blood count. Although dr ahmed wanted to wait on getting biopsy until he was released from the hospital and do it at his office the internist pushed to get the biopsy done while he was still hospitalized. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with aml leukemia It took dr ahmed 4 days ( 3 days we spent at the er) to arrange for him to begin treatment at gw where the oncology team was confused why he hadn’t been sent sooner given how sick he was from leukemia. No sense of urgency.

When faced with a Cancer diagnosis and so many unknowns it helps tremendously to have a competent and empathetic medical provider to lead the way. After working with Dr. Ahmed for more than a year now, there is no doubt that he is the right Oncologist for me. I'm so grateful for his care. He never gave up on me and always had a suggestion for making me feel better during active treatment. I would 100% recommend him and his staff to anyone.

There are no words to express my gratitude to Dr Ahmed and his amazing staff. One year ago I received my diagnosis and will never regret having him and his team care for me. I was, and still am, treated like I was a family member and not a patient. Absolutely wonderful and very supportive, caring and patient.

He was helpful during every stage of my cancer, very informative, and seemed to know my case before I even met him the first time. I felt confident he knew what he was doing. His staff were also helpful, though there was a rough patch at first.
