Had appointment with Wilson, but PA saw me instead. Never saw Dr. Wilson—no explanation. Baited and switched. Waiting room ventilation undetectable.

He helped me through several episodes of stones. He was truly concerned and caring. A saving grace to me.

My husband and I highly do not recommend Norman Urology Associates. He has had 5 procedures over the course of 6 months and still needs another surgery due to damage created for the second time from an earlier procedure. The office staff is rude and the most dysfunctional ever. They refused to let my husband come for a post op appointment two to three weeks after surgery when the doctor said he wanted to see him stating he had to wait 3 months even though he was experiencing problems from the surgery. Office staff demands money up front for appointments/procedures and they overcharge you before the visit /procedures and then keep the money on file for future appointments. Dr. Wilson is a nice doctor but too laid back in decision making that will heal the patient. When we requested the doctor to return a call, his staff either does not relay the message or doctor does not return the call. Doctor is of no help with the most dysfunctional medical office staff we have ever encountered.

It is very difficult to talk to anyone in the office. Every time I call, I get a message that says "due to high call volume we are unable to take your call." I was prompted to leave a message, which I did but never got a return call. I have waited on hold for over 20 minutes before giving up. During the appointment, my elderly mother was told to do a procedure at home that would help her problem. Soon after, she was in the ER with an infection from doing this procedure.

They tell you to call right away if you have problems so my husband called on 10/23 and was told that the nurse would get back with him. When she called he was in the other room so he called back in less that 60 seconds while she was leaving a voicemail only to be told she was with a patient and a message was taken for her to call back ... still waiting. It's hard to watch someone that never complains be in pain. 10/24 He get a callback at and explains what's going on and needs to know if he

Dr. Wilson really cares about his patients, and he is a very knowledgeable urologist. While it is always difficult to deal with urological problems, Dr. Wilson's compassion and expertise made me feel better about my treatment plan and gave me the confidence that I was following the correct course of action. I would highly recommend him to patients in Norman or the OKC area.
