My Daughter told me about Dr Clint the doctors .I was seeing were terrible had to sit in office 2 to 3 hours and sometimes an hour in the Room .I use to say I was too sick to go to doc. When going to Dr Houk's office you are in and treated NOT Rushed , they listen to you .I saw Dr clint and dr houk Bot are great dr.s

I had a cough that would not go away. I was very short of breath and struggled to do things. Dr. Houk sent me for a chest X-ray and though it came back with a pneumonia finding, he indicated that the pneumonia was a symptom not the basic cause. He sent me to a cardiologist, who did a procedure that indicated I needed a pulmonologist. If Dr. Houk had not started this process, would have been dead 2 years ago. I have a severe lung disease that would have taken my life without anyone ever knowing. Thank you Dr. Houk.

I never have to wait long fast and there greatest guy ever...the hole is great

We asked Dr. Houk for a referral to a neurologist for my elderly father that we think is in the early stages of dementia. It’s been over three weeks and haven’t been contacted by anyone. I doubt a referral was ever made. Dad calls Dr. Houk a pill pusher. I don’t think Dr. Houk really cares about your problems or listens to you, just says here try this pill and sends you on your way.

This is a review of Tory, Dr. Houk's employee. I found Tory to be extremely helpful and Knowledgeable concerning getting the refill order of my Diabetic sensors and transmitter. This turned out to be a needlessly confusing process before I talked to Tory. Dr. Houk and one of his other staff members did not seem to have a clue what they were doing, and I was led to believe that the script was filled, when, in fact, it was not. But Tory came to the rescue, by overseeing the whole process, including several phone calls to Medicare. I was left with the impression that Dr. Houk does not know or care about Medicare, or perhaps paperwork in general, and how it is essential to us older patients. In fact, there is a distinct lack of good communication between the physician and his staff. This requires the patient to closely monitor his or her own medical follow ups So, kudos to Tory! Tory is terrific at her attention to detail, empathy for the patient, and overall concern for success.

I’m a new patient even though my husband isn’t. I called weeks ago to get an appointment. My urine was dark green and NEEDED to see a doc. April 18th was the soonest, fine. They called me two days ago to reschedule my appointment even farther out. I explained that I had nearly died and was in the hospital her response was “Oh good! Let me just go ahead and cancel that appointment then!” Who treats people that way? Don’t think I want to see Dr Houke even though every single person I know tells me what a fantastic doctor he is. Sounds to me like he needs better staff! That’s not just unprofessional, it’s just rude and unsympathetic. That’s what’s wrong with this world!

Every visit what stood out to me every time I've been is that I'm welcomed when I walk through the doors of Dr Houk office. The staff is always friendly and make you feel accepted. Dr Houk himself listens to you. He will give you his thoughts or get down to the bottom of what's going on. my husband and I have been seeing him for almost 4 years. I recommend him to anybody. We even drive an hour or two to go see him.

Dr. Houk is the best doctor in Elizabethtown because he actually listens to his patients. I was a patient and then came to work for him because he is that good.

Dr. Houk and is APRN, Clint Cron have went above and beyond for myself and my families health concerns. I recommend everyone I know to their office. Dr. Houk is intelligent, understanding and really cares about your health needs.

I’ve been going to Dr.Houk for 3 years now, he has greatly increased my fathers health, my health and my daughters health. You can tell that he genuinely cares & values your time. He’s very humble & will go the extra mile for his patients. If you ever find a doctor this genuine & intelligent, I’d suggest you keep them!!

Every visit I see Dr Houk he always explains every detail so well. Dr Houk takes the time he should to make sure you understand. Best doctor I have ever seen. Office staff is very helpful.

Staff does not follow up ,poor communication between doctor and staff.No phone calls returned concerning prescription,very unprofessional

Did not return call when we left message on patient who has severe issues. Called again and no appointment available. Turned this 76 yr old patient with kidney and heart issues has Covid

Dr. Houk is just awesome. His staff is just as great. He easily meets 5/5 rating when it comes to ever level a Doctor has to offer and more. Mr. Houk obviously cares a great deal about his career or he wouldn't have so many repeated clients. He listens very well to get to know his clients. He's never in a rush. He's VERY smart about so much more then medical stuff. The guy is gifted with common sense as well as great communication skills. which is huge when I person looks for a care provider, so many lack these skills in the doctor world. Only negative thing Dr. Houk has on him is there's not two of him. I highly recommend Dr. Houk as anyones health provider.

I give Dr Hauk a zero or 1 star if I must. I would not recommend him to anyone. In my recent visit by phone he agreed to call in my prescription for 2 and 1/2 mg Clonazepam a day which I desperately need because the drug Gabapentin reset my brain chemistry 2 years ago and I had to discontinue most of my meds. He agreed to call in my meds. When I got them he had ordered 1 and 1/2 mg per day. I called his office to see if there was a mistake. One of his helpers said that he said he would not issue what I needed. He should have told me this during the consult, but he had NO COURAGE. Just wants you to take what he gives you and shut up about it. SO - BECAUSE HE IS, IN EFFECT, A LIAR, I CANCELLED ALL APPOINTMENTS WITH HIM AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND A LIAR TO ANYONE.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Houk for several years. His knowledge is incredible, and he’ never too busy to answer questions. I drive out of my way to see him!

My husband and I have been going to Dr Houk for a year now and he’s an amazing doctor The wait is usually 10 minutes and we’re in the room no later than 10 minutes We recommen him to anyone

Perfect example of a physician and office that believes the doctor's time is much more valuable than the patient's time. I was a patient of Dr. Houk's and have waited well over an hour for him on a number of occasions because of overbooking patients. The one time I had to cancel an appointment because my mother was taken to HMH by ambulance I was rudely told I'd have to pay $20.00 for calling and cancelling my appointment and then the extremely, rude, staff member hung up the phone.

I take my elderly mother to Dr. Houk. I find that he addresses her issues well. His 'bedside manner' is quite good - calm. Considering her age, I feel Dr. Houk is also very practical in his approach to her care,

This is a great doctor HE cares and listens, answer all concerns he is among my list of top doctors. I hope to see him until I PASS ON. MY FAMILY WILL LOVE HIM !
