Dr. Eklund is very patient and takes the time to listen and respects what the patient has to say. His thoroughness does lead to waits as he definitely is not just cranking out patient visits like some. The wait is worth it. Highly recommend.

Dr. Eklund never makes me feel ignorant for asking any question and thoroughly explains why my body is acting or reacting as it does. He makes certain that I understand all procedures that I will be undertaking and never rushes through my office visit. He explains what my blood tests show (individual entries) and tells me how to change what I want to change, whether its life threatening or not.

I have great appreciation for Dr. Eklund! My Husband pasted few months back, Dr. Eklund took care of him many years. if you see his aging patient's load and see the time and care he gives at hospital, I don't mind waiting, just glad he will take care of my health.

He has been my PCP for over a decade. Today was his last day as such. I am sure I have well over 40 hours in his waiting room. I get that sometimes a person can get behind, but I have come to believe it's actually his business model. In 20 plus visits I have never waited less then an hour past my appointment time. Even when I was the FIRST appointment of the day. I can go to urgent care if I have an issue and be seen quicker.

If you enjoy waiting 2 hours to be seen and being told “I don’t have time to look at your records.” Dr. Eklund is the perfect PCP for you.

While we like dr Eklund and feel he's competent, the wait time for appointments is too excessive. Triage didn't happen until 2 hours after appointment time at last appt and already waiting excessively today and was told he's not I house yet. We appreciate that doctors are busy but so are we and we're taking time off our jobs to be here.
