Not acceptable. Lab blood work was lost and never found. Prior appointment resulted in having to reschedule as doctor was on vacation and I was never notified. Support staff incompetent.

Do Not Recommend for Anything related to Cancer
I definitely DO NOT recommend Dr. Brent Sharpe for any services related to cancer. I was diagnosed with Gleason 10 prostate cancer December 2022 and Dr. Sharpe operated (removed prostate) at end of January 2023. After the surgery, Dr. Sharpe advised no further scans, PSA testing, blood work, or oncologist consultation until after a PSA testing date that was scheduled 105 days after the surgery. At that point, my PSA was over 100 and subsequent Bone and PET scans showed that the cancer had spread throughout my entire body. This cannot be cured. So as a (formerly) healthy 64 year old male, my median life expectancy is now 5 years assuming I continue with the multiple invasive treatments I am now receiving at Cancer Treatment Center in Newnan (Chemotherapy, Hormone Injections, Hormone Pills, Bone Injections, and Supplements). Dr. Sharpe represented himself as the person who could guide me through my cancer treatment and cure. I placed my trust in him and now it is too late.

A Pleasant Experience
A standard follow-up visit to Aquablation procedure last June. Dr. Sharpe does not waste your time, but he does take the time necessary to answer any questions that you have and to explain proposed treatments and/or procedures in easy-to-understand terms. He is not prone to prescribing unnecessary test and/or visits. After putting off selecting a urologist for 47 years, I believe that Dr. Sharpe has been the best choice for me. His resume is very impressive as is his experience with minimally invasive robotics and procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Sharpe.

I live 5+ hours away from Braselton and had been trying for over a year to find the perfect combination of right urologist and right procedure when I finally discovered Dr. Sharpe. He immediately impressed me as being patient-focused, caring, knowledgeable in the latest technology and techniques, and very grounded personally. He performed the Aquablation procedure on my prostate with excellent results, fine-tuning it to meet my needs by minimizing side effects that usually occur with prostate surgery. His nurse Christie and patient coordinator Lana were also very helpful. I'll be very hard pressed to not make the 5+ hour trip in the future for his care should I have any other major urologic issues.

I highly recommend Dr. Sharpe. He has been very attentive to my issues and always makes time to talk to me and answer any questions. I went in for an issue that I had previous surgery for with another doctor that was unsuccessful. He was able to fix my problem and the whole office is very friendly and does their best to make you feel comfortable.

Dr. Sharpe and the nurses were great. I was not pleased with the treatment my wife received in the waiting room. She was there due to your requirement as a driver was needed following a procedure. She was told to sit in her car even though it was 80 degrees and she has allergies. Mind you 2 woman walked in and neither were told to leave. I was having a procedure and my wife is told she can’t stay in the waiting room.

Dr. Sharpe performed the urolift procedure on me in his office. It was very painful and I left his office with a catheter. Afterwards, I had several urinary tract infections and had to to go to his office numerous times. His answer to every visit was antibiotics. Finally he did a urine culture and I tried to obtain the results for several days. When they finally did call me I was told to go to the ER immediately because I had a very bad infection. I was hospitalized for four days and had to get antibiotic injections every day for ten more days. I went to another urologist and had surgery to correct the problem. I hope this review helps someone who is thinking about getting this procedure done, especially in an unsterile environment such as his office

I visited Dr. Sharpe twice in February, 2019. He was not only very thorough but he was also very compassionate and caring. After my diagnosis, he visited me twice during my hospital stay even after my care was transferred to a different specialist. This was the best doctor experience of my life. Dianne F. My Uncle was diagnosed with a kidney tumor. The hospital he was at wanted to do a huge open surgery and remove it. I happen to work in the Operating Room so when he called me I immediately referred him to Dr Sharpe. He has since had his kidney removed using the robotic surgery technique by Dr Sharpe. With such a great Surgeon and using the robotic technique my Uncle had the surgery through tiny incisions and went home in a few days and within a few short weeks is back to his normal life!!!! ??

This appointment was a waste of my time and an easy way for this to practice to make money and dismiss an issue . I had a bladder ultrasound (assuming he reviewed it) because he left before my UA was even spun and wrote me a prescription for Flomax which is a medication to men with prostrate enlargement. I do understand there are off label uses for medication . But, this one in particular is NOT recommended for women or children. I would not recommend Dr. Sharpe to anyone .
