Great Gifted General Surgeon in Washington DC Area
My wife Jessie Joseph recently underwent robotic laparoscopic surgery with Dr. Sachse to remove a very large 22 cm cyst containing heavy fluid. From our initial consultation through the post-operative care, we were consistently impressed by Dr. Sachse's expertise and professionalism. He is clearly a highly knowledgeable surgeon who took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, address all my concerns, and ensure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. I am incredibly grateful for Dr. Sachse's skill and care. If you are in need of surgical intervention, my wife and I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend consulting with Dr. Sachse. His talent is a true gift, if you are facing surgery and looking for a highly competent and caring surgeon, look no further than Dr. Sachse. What truly stood out was not only his surgical talent but also his friendly and reassuring demeanor. You will be in excellent hands.

Used Preemptive Hernia Mesh
I had a simple double femoral hernia repair with Dr. Sachse in Dec. 2020 and I've been miserable ever since. The pain started in the back of my pelvis... He put in hernia mesh from my groin to my waist in some kind of preemptive attempt against future hernias. He missed an indirect incarcerated inguinal hernia opening in my abdominal wall during his surgery, which was found by another peripheral nerve plastic reconstructive surgeon. Now, I have to have the mesh on both sides of my abdomen removed by one of a few surgeons in the U.S. that remove hernia mesh.

He is a very kind doctor with a great bedside manner. He's honest, and he won't try to sell you a Cadillac if the Camry will work well. I had no post op complications at all, and no pain from the hernia repair. I wish he did knee replacements, because I wouldn't think twice about going back to him. He's phenomenal.

Excellent, friendly front/back office. Efficient scheduling, pleasant interaction. Surgery went well, he seemed to know what he was doing and kept up a humorous patter to keep me distracted.

Dr. Sachse treated me during a life threatening emergency and guided me through surgical options once I recovered. I really cannot say enough good things about him. He truly cares about people and eventually agreed to not do surgery on me even though it cost him a big payday I'm sure because he felt it wasn't worth the risks for the potential rewards. Seriously, what surgeon does that? I have talked to a ton of people in the medical field and no one ever heard of that happening. A++++

Dr. Sachse has performed two stomach surgeries on me. The most recent was just before Thanksgiving. For this second surgery I requested him because he is such a thoughtful and thorough surgeon. My surgery required 17 days in the hospital and he saw me every day before and after the surgery. His ability to put me at ease was so appreciated and I could never ask for a better surgeon.

Dr. Sachse repaired my inguinal hernia earlier this year. He did an excellent job, and I recommend him without hesitation. He answered every question I had, and my overall impression is that he is the kind of doctor who really cares about his patients.
