INCORRECT BILLING FROM BILLING DEPT TO HEALTH INS
I have no issues with this doctor, he was friendly, precise and had perfect solution to the issue. My issue is with the INSURANCE BILLING DEPT! My co-pay is $15 for specialist visit and xrays done in the office. They submitted the 3 hand xrays as separate radiology exam and charged another $15 for copay. My carrier reached out to the billing dept they were to resubmit. They never did. When I called the billing dept they said, its separate billing, sorry! We can't change it. NO, THEY HAD NO INTENTION IN CHANGING IT! I don't agree. Any other specialist I see they don't charge xtra for xrays. I'm not squabbling over $15 ... its the PRINCIPAL of it all. I do not recommend going to this group. There are many other excellent orthopedic groups in the area, save yourself from their incompetency in their billing dept. They do not know how to code correctly and you will have to pay for their incompetency.

Dr. Divelbiss
Dr. Divelbiss has done surgery on both of my hands for carpal tunnel over 15 years ago. This time, I called thinking I would have to wait for an appointment, but they got me in within 5 days, which was great. He was knew exactly what to do for me and I was on my way within about 30 minutes. He is very patient oriented and cares about the patient. I would definitely recommend him for any hand issues.

Dr. Divelbiss Fixed My Fractured Wrist
Dr. Divelbiss was gentle and kind examining and fractured wrist. He explained what needed to be done to repair it and what the recovery time might look like. He patiently answered my questions. His staff followed up after surgery. I'm doing the recommended rehab with a wonderful OT at KCOI Performance Rehab.

Excellent, compassionate doctor
This is my second surgery with Dr. Divelbiss. On both occasions, I was treated with respect, kindness and compassion. Top notched care pre, during , and post surgery. Excellent staff, smiling faces to reassure you that they will help you with compassion and care. Definitely would refer him to anyone!!

Highly recommend Dr. Divelbiss and Nurse Annie!!
I did my research and when done, Dr. Divelbiss was the best choice. I have always had a great experience whether seeing Dr. Divelbiss or his Nurse, Annie. He did surgery on my hand and I know at some point I am going to need surgery again and I would not trust anyone other than Dr. Divelbiss and his staff to take care of me.

Tells it like it is!!
I appreciated Dr. Divelbiss' approach. He told me the best case scenario and the worst case scenario. He tells it like it is! I just had the surgery recently on my finger. I will have the pin removed in 3 weeks. I will know more then about the actual results of the surgery. Dr. D is a very kind man, a good doctor, and he has a great bedside manner. If you have hand or finger issues, he is the man to see!

Partial loss of use of hand
Initially all sounded incredibly great, Mr Divelbliss explained To me what it was going to take to regain use of my right thumb and partial hand he proceeded to tell me we would have to do a tendon transfer and all should be fine he does them all the time. So I continued on with his surgery an therapy and in the had absolutely no change in the use of my right hand and finger so I basically was out of work when able to do my job and Mr. Divelbliss on my last visit told me I'm sorry we did the best that we could and unfortunately did not work cannot do anymore for you. Unfortunately for me a simple I'm sorry did not work. I went on to have a second doctor look at it and completed a surgery (tendon transfer again) 8 months later which was totally successful and I have regained full use of my right hand and fingers now. Not only will I never use Mr. Divel Bliss again I find it very unfair That this company Believes I am responsible for the final bill???

Trigger Finger Surgery
I'm so happy I researched doctors before hand surgery and found Dr. Divelbiss. I'm a court reporter so my hands are my livelihood. Dr. Divelbiss is excellent. I have had great results with both hands (one done in 2020 and one done in 2022). I had minimum pain with both. He and his staff are so professional. I wasn't a bit worried about the 2nd surgery because I knew what to expect from the first and knew it would go as well as the first. I'd recommend Dr. Divelbiss to anyone.

I always have a great experience each time I visit the office for an appointment! Dr. Divelbiss is wonderful. He did surgery on both my hands and elbows and did a great job. I can feel my fingers again!! Thanks so much for making such a positive difference in my life. I will definitely be telling anyone who has problems with their arms to see him for sure.
