Dr. Brookellen Rider, DO

I highly recommend Dr. Brookellen Rider D.O. A Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine uses a whole person approach to help prevent illness and injury. She is very knowledgeable, insightful, thorough, and always takes time to listen.

My sister recently had an annual physical and the doctor noticed that she had a cough. One question about the cough, my sister said it had been on and off for a couple of months. So Dr. Rider took a chest x-ray which showed a nodule in her lung that turned out to be very very early cancer. The cancer was removed successfully and completely. Due to the early detection and amazing care she received from Dr. Rider, she is cancer free! Our entire family thanks you for your excellent care and for keeping our precious sister healthy!

Today 2/10/21 I Michael Sponseller had a Appointment At Dr. Rider's new office in Ocean pines & my appointment was for 3 pm. & was told to be there at 2:45 & I was & I waited till 3:35 while watching 2 others that came in after me being taken back & then a 3rd. person came in & she signed in just like I was & I heard all 3 of them say their appointment was for Dr. Rider & finally a women from another Dr. asked me who I was waiting for & I told her & she said she will check & see what is going on & then another women came out at 3:45 & said they were going to have to reschedule my appointment & I told her not to bother because apparently Dr. Rider no longer cares about her long time patience any longer & then I asked this women for a copy of my blood test & she said I could not have a copy of it & I got pissed & told them off & left. What a piss poor office & staff & Apparently Dr. Rider is ok with this & My family will no longer be with Dr. Rider after today !

I moved to the area 2 years ago and my primary care doctor had just retired. I went to Dr. Rider via a referral from a friend. I have found her and her staff to be extremely caring and involved with her patients. I'm been to her for both physicals and medical issues and have found her to be excellent in diagnosing, resolving medical issues. I'd refer her to anyone.

Blood work is not even reviewed, conditions go unnoticed. My new DR. ordered blood work and spotted it right away and said stage 3 kidney issues that simple blood work should have been spotted on previous annual blood work test results.

She is very intelligent and capable. She is also understanding and listens to what you have to say.

Well She is my Family Dr. or I will say was because I am now looking for a new Dr. I have been with her for Many years & last week I had a heart attack & I was at her office complaining prior to this happening. Dr. Rider dose NOT even touch her patients, I have been there 3 times with in 6 months & never once has she touched me or even listen to my heart. If you are going to be a Dr. & collecting $ maybe you need to do your Job that she took a oath to do !
