Saw this md for three visits over three weeks and three medicine changes! I had psych experience with two excellent doctors, so I know the real deal. Welch ain't it. Very sketchy education from St. George ??? The islands? He was all over the board. REALLY IMPRESSED WITH HIMSELF!!!! If you feel you need care in Pinellas call Walter Griffith, MD. He has it together. Knows medicines and disorders. Will put together a treatment plan. He is very busy!!!!! Stay after it.

I am in the medical field and appreciate the fact that Dr. Welch has pursued excellent training in psychiatry at my Alma Mater (Chapel Hill), worked as a House Officer in INternal Medicine, completed fellowships in forensic psychiatry (my alma mater) and at Harvard (TMS). I know him personally and he has taken excellent care of two members of my family and I have recommended him to several others.

Dr. Welch is a very intelligent, highly knowledgeable, and hopelessly arrogant doctor.
