Dr. Bshara Barakat, MD

I was referred to Dr Bearakat by my uncle who is also a physician. He was easy to make an appointment with and very friendly. He helped me get through a bout of double pneumonia. His staff are efficient and courteous. I highly recommend him to anyone with complex issues and who want consistent best standard of care.

Dr Barakat helped me significantly with lab tests that confirmed and denied my issues. She also put me in rehab for painful shoulder that was healed. She persisted to find answers for my various issues. She has a wonderful bed side manner and feel very lucky I was referred to her. Thank you, Dr Barakat.

Dr. Barakat is a Rock Star, IMO! I had a wonderful PCP who left town and I was worried that I’d never find another like him, but thanks to my friend, I found Dr. B.J. Barakat! I saw his wife years ago for rheumatology, but knew nothing of her husband across the hall. But By God’s Grace, I ended up back there~only~across the hall. Few doctors will sit down and really listen to your concerns, getting to know you personally, and not have their hand on the door knob while you’re still talking. He listens and remembers; whenever you come in, he’s asking about your family, life or whatever you’ve spoken about in the past. It’s like visiting an old friend rather than a physician. He is a dying breed...One of the few left in this world of impersonal doc in a box clinics and corporate medicine! I am grateful for him! I feel Blessed!

Dr. Barakat is an EXCELLENT Dr. He has pulled me out of some BAD health situations. He's very thorough in his exam. He's not afraid to order blood work or any other testing to determine what's wrong. He will also refer you to someone else when necessary.
