Bad prescription
I could not see well out of my left eye with the prescription Dr. Collins had given me for a full year so I made an appt. the following year hoping to correct that. However, the new prescription wasn't any better. I called office to tell them I still couldn't see well out of left eye, and they called changed prescription from 40 to 60 and I got a new lens for that eye. It didn't help and I still couldn't see well. When I was getting examined I could never read the letters with my left eye, but the technician ignored that so I thought it was due to cataracts. However, after a couple of months a friend who is an optometrist offered to examine my eyes and found that the prescription did not correct my vision for astigmatism. She gave me a new prescription and I can now see out of my left eye. Now I can't trust Dr. Collins to get it right and am looking for a new opthalmalogist to do my cataract surgery.

The staff was rude and not friendly. The doctor never explained anything and barely answered my questions. When I expressed the things I was unhappy about, she refused to treat me. I would not recommend this doctor at all.

Dr. Collins was rude, short sighted, and listened to nothing I had to say. I am now having to go see a different opthalmologist thanks to her refusal to treat my eye problems.
