The best cardiologist
Dr. Carlino is wonderful and one of my favorite doctors and I have seen a lot of them, unfortunately. Takes all the time to answer all my questions and concerns and then inquires about other issues and makes suggestions.

Terrible doctor that really does not care
Dr. Carlino is a terrible doctor who doesn't really have any diagnostic capability. He suggests tests and does not have any opinions besides the written results that come with the test. He also does not respond to any messages after your visit and wants to schedule appoints to generate repeat business. He will also charge for 30 mins appointments for a 15 mins appointment.

Very rude and unprofessional
I am leaving Dr Carlino, I was having heart problems while I was out of town and the office staff was extremely rude. I was not able to get help. I called over 5 times and each time they kept putting me in hold and giving me ultimatums . on the last attempt the front dest tells the nurse untruths then the nurse calls back unwilling to help. Very unking and unprofessional staff, I hope Dr Carlino changes offices staff becuase several of us are leaving him because of the office and nurse staff.

Highly recommend
Dr Carlino is very responsive.I have submitted a couple of times my medical device data …which they reviewed and responded within a short time.He is very friendly and listens very carefully, answers all my questions, concerns, observations and rationale so I can make informed medical decisions for anything that effects my heart health.I appreciate the care and concern they continually demonstrate.

Dr Carlino is great but his receptionist is AWFUL
I cannot change an appointment or discuss anything without going through the EXTREMELY rude receptionist who continuously puts me on hold and treats me like dirt. I will not return to this good doctor due to her!! I couldn’t even change my appointment without her putting me on hold AGAIN for 20 minutes and I really tried to be calm, nice and polite but she pushed me to my edge. She should not be on Dr Carlino’s staff!!

Dr. Carlino is a fantastic Doctor. He doesn’t rush through an exam, he’s a dr. who speaks calmly which is important to me. I’m a person who could easily panic over a procedure as big as my heart, yet, he seemed to know this and was able to get me through each test, then to surgery. It was amazing, because he was calm I became calmer. I think he’s a genius.

My wife and I are patients of Dr Carlino. We are very pleased with him and his office. It may be a little difficult to get an appointment with him in the short term, but it is worth planning ahead if you can. He never makes you feel rushed. He is very good at explaining issues, consequences, and treatments. His office responds via the patient portal in a timely manner for things such as medication and after visit questions.

Mixed review. My first experience over 3 years ago went well. A fair amount of time and attention was spent with me and referred me for proper tests. Follow up appointments have been disappointing. A PA was condescending and in a rush. I had an appointment today and the office was obviously busy and overbooked. Dr. Carlino was in a hurry and it showed in the lack of care given. I show him a list of BP ranging from very high to very low. Nothing. He said he would prescribe a new bp med for me. I left with no script. A monitor was basically thrown at me and the staff member disappeared. I would strongly reconsider scheduling an appointment with him.

Dr. Carlino is a rock star in my book. Just using his stethoscope he was able to diagnose a murmur that no other doctor, in my 67 years of visiting many, had ever noticed. He was thorough in explaining problems and options, and ran the appropriate tests for final diagnosis. I highly recommend him.

I was very concerned about my heart when I went to Dr. Carlino. I had a lot of questions about my symptoms. Dr. Carlino fully answered my questions, reassured me by his calm demeanor and professional manner. He clearly outlined what tests I would need and the reason for the tests. He set a time for me to meet with him again to review those test results. I left with a feeling that I was in good hands. As I find out more about what my heart problem is, I feel confident that Dr. Carlino will have the expertise to treat me.
