Stoic/unresponsive
Had to be rushed to the ER and he was the doctor at the time in Hondo, Texas. He diagnosed me and when I asked questions, he appeared to either not be listening, didn’t understand what I was saying or was annoyed with all my questions. I mean, you are recommending surgery, I believe I have the right to ask! His bed side manner wasn’t the best. He seemed like he wasn’t all there and at the time, some comfort with education would have been welcomed given my issue. The nurse at the time was amazing, warm and kind. He should really evaluate if he really wants to be a doctor because that day he made me feel worse. Now I’m sitting here wondering if I have a severe condition that needs immediate attention and wondering what other information he didn’t provide me!
