I have seen Dr. Menendez for 14 years when I moved to San Antonio from Maryland. He is always attentive to all my needs and questions. He also tracks other problems I have and will call the other physician to coordinate care and concerns. He is totally professional and thorough. I highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Menendez for hypothyroidism. I have consulted many endocrinologists over the years and none compare to Dr. Menendez! Aside from being extremely professional and knowledgeable, he was very kind, compassionate and genuinely concerned, a rare combination. For years, I insisted that I also needed T3 since my thyroid does not convert T4 into sufficient T3. He has many patients with the same issue! My sister & niece are also patients. His staff is also very kind & courteous. A+ 5??

Dr. Menendez has been my doctor for over twenty years. He is a rare gem in that he is extremely caring, very interested in knowing you and not jumping to conclusions too quickly as well as listening with a heart to situations that relate to quality of life. I so appreciate his genuine concern, knowledge and the meaningful connection we have had since I first met him. Expect to wait as he will take the time needed to hear your concerns.

Dr. Menendez is always very cordial and he focuses on the positive. I never feel rushed, and he always takes time to answer my questions fully. He stays up on the latest research and medicines. I walk out of his office feeling hopeful, and this is very important to me. Some of the other doctors I have visited were very negative and made me feel like it was all my fault. He is very approachable and I do not get stressed out when I go in for an appointment, which hasn't always been the case.
