Dr. Rayner was very good but then succumbed to what I call 'patient ennui'. After a couple of years of being my primary care doctor, she lost interest in me. She also canceled 2 appointments in a row and when I needed a refill, her office wouldn't phone it in because I needed bloodwork! That bloodwork was supposed to be done during one of the 2 appointments SHE canceled. Now, I don't have my statin medicine. Great doctor, huh? NOT.

She is very pleasant and professional.
She has been very available when I needed to schedule post operative and post hospital for year trauma appointments. She know my previous adventures in the medical group…hip fracture, stroke, gall bladder, etc.

Horrible doctor
Sent an email to request an important test and she didn’t answer for days and when I got an answer it was from her secretary/nurse who said the doctor says I don’t need one because I had one five years ago. She also sent me to have other tests from her female doctor friends in the practice that were totally unnecessary as they showed exactly no problems. A waste of time and money. I am changing doctors. Enough of her.

Anyone else
Same story as many other reviews here. She is cold, dismissive and rude. During a phone consultation for which I waited half an hour, she made no attempt to understand or address my painful symptoms and suggested that I go to urgent care. Never again.

Stay far away
She refused to give me a simple doctor's note and was extremely dismissive, condescending and presumptuous throughout the entire visit and was unhelpful at best. She was not able to refer me to anybody covered by my insurance and overall her simultaneous ignorance and privilege were extremely off putting.

Horrible Doctor
Writing on behalf of a family member…in addition to concurring with the other reviews about how horribly condescending and nasty she is, with zero empathy, she also neglected to prescribe a simple medication for four days, which resulted in a near-death hospitalization. Stay away! She should not be practicing medicine.

Worst doctor in westchester
This doctor refuses to treat her patients and make assumptions on them from history going back 7 years. After complaining of pain and asking for tests to advocate for my health - she refused to do anything other then listen to me breathe and check my heart rate. I'm dealing with a ton of issues that could have been caught earlier if this doctor was actually a human. Never met a doctor with more robotic mean qualities then this one in my whole life. Good luck if you go see her.

My first visit with Dr. Rayner was such a great experience and eased my panicked mind, she listened, she cared and she spoke to me as a person. I am happy I chose her to be my new primary and I feel certain she will help me get to the bottom of whatever this weird thing I have going on is I love that she practices using her heart and her brain! I also love she has a suggested reading list and healthy suggestions at the ready.

Dr. Rayner was very thorough in her explanations as well as her concern about my overall health issues. She gave me helpful and useful advice as well as accepting my decisions for a more organic approach to health care if applicable. She took time during our session and I never felt rushed or disregarded when giving my views on health care. I would highly recommend her as a Primary Care Physician.

I really enjoy going to Dr. Rayner. It took me quite sometime to find someone I felt comfortable with because I do have autoimmune issues.. she has a more holistic approach and is always looking to find the root cause of an issue rather than put a band aid on it .. pun intended!

If you are suffering from any form of depression or anxiety do yourself a favor and use a different internist. Dr. Rayner's lack of empathetic bedside manner can be extremely offputting. I have tried speaking with her about my health concerns and worries and was met with either resistance to help/listen or just being condescendingly brushed off. There have also been times where it has been difficult for me to obtain my prescriptions from her, not due to insurance concerns but merely her arguing with my other physicians about whether or not I need them. The receptionist and nurse were however very pleasant, Dr. Rayner should learn a thing or two from them.

Amazing experience! If you’d like to find a doctor who is extremely thorough, does his/her research and factors in lifestyle factors, Dr. Rayner is excellent! She spent a good deal of time with me understanding my health concerns due to lifestyle, diet and even mindset. She listened and gave me solutions for every concern. I knew in one visit that she is the primary care physician for me!

Dr Rayner is amazing! My husband is also Dr Rayner's patient at the Mount Kisco location and we have always received A++++ treatment. Very knowledgable and caring. My previous Dr in CA was happy to write a prescription for high blood pressure and send me on my way. Dr Rayner questioned why I had high blood pressure and considered the cause to be genetic. Turns out, there IS a history of death caused by a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm in my family!

I had to wait over 20 minutes past my appointment time. Then when I went in she checked me for an ear infection said that’s what it is and then told me she would need to look up what medicine would work! She didn’t even know what to give me for a simple ear infection. She told me to call her back to see if it worked because she was curious. She basically had no idea how to treat me. It is a week later and the medicine didn’t work. I am leaving CareMount Medical!! Stay far away from this doctor!

First, when I showed up for my appointment they couldn't find it in the system. I had an email confirmation of the appointment, but I still had to come back the following week. The actual appointment was horrible. She spent the majority of the visit lecturing me about a medication I take that has nothing to do with the reason for my visit. She was condescending, impersonal, and unhelpful. I would never go back to her.

I've never rated a doctor before, but felt the need to share my experience. Dr. Rayner was rude and condescending. I highly recommend against seeing her unless it's for something very routine and you don't mind a lack of bedside manner. It was a terrible experience and waste of time because I will be seeking care elsewhere.
