He was highly rated and I wanted the best. He does not disappoint. I found him to be outstanding. He seems to be very knowledgeable, highly skilled, and professional. He has a wealth of experience in his field and inspires confidence. He is also very personable, easy to talk with and inspires confidence. I highly recommend him without reservation. I went to him for a cancer screen and I was fortunate to have a benign lesion but he would have been my choice if I needed further care or surgery.

Dr. Liu has been very upfront on my husband's oral cancer. Instead of sugery, Dr. Liu recommended radiation and chemotherapy. His recommendation saved my husband's tongue and the recommended therapy eradicated his stage three cancer. Dr Liu continues to monitor my husband's progress and we are grateful to the VA for sending us to this highly recommended surgeon.

First off let me say that everyone in the office was Great!!! Dr Liu came in the room knowing what I was there for. He was very nice, he was gentle when he was examining me and explained everything that needed to happen next. They had me set up for surgery within 4 days. To have a Doctor and staff so efficient is nothing short of amazing!

I was diagnosed with some type of throat cancer, and Dr. Liu took it out completely. I visited a couple of other doctors before, and they all recommended chemotherapy and radiation or surgery by Dr. Liu. I was very reluctant to do chemotherapy and radation, not only because of the toxicities, but also due to my young age. I read a lot about it, and given the evidences we have, I decided to have my surgery done by Dr. Liu, who is definitely one of the best, if not the best head and neck surgeons you can find. I am happy with my results, and I am very happy with Dr. Liu. I highly recommend him to whoever needs head and neck surgery.

Dr. Liu saved my life. He did a partial laryngectomy on me in November 2021. He is a caring, compassionate doctor. I would not be here without him. He also always makes time for his patients & listens to their concerns.

He saved my brother's life! my brother had a very extensive tumor in his neck and nose, and went through several treatments, including some surgeries, with other hospitals. His tumor was deemed "unresectable" at some time point in his neck. Thanks to Dr. Liu's great skills and care. My brother is tumor-free according to his recent scan. We are grateful for what he offered.

2 years ago, I got a big lump and blood coming out my left ear, my family doctor ignored it for a while and finally I was referred to Dr. Liu, who did biopsy and then told me that I had ear canal cancer. He did surgery on me after some scans and discussion, and he also moved some thigh tissue to cover my ear after he completely cut out the cancer. I also got radiation afterwards. Now, I am 2 years out and have finished all the treatment. I feel so good. I appreciate the help I got from him, and the long road I has been through. He is a great doctor, I would recommend him to my friends and family if they need.

when he was in Sioux falls SD in september he messed up my wife arm up. did a great job on her on her gum. but left a lot scar tissue and cut a tendon Mayo spend 4 hours trying to fix it now its a waited game .
