Long wait time and little information from Dr.

Everything was good except for the final outcome of cataract surgery with impaired vision. Dr. Bogie did not consider the affect of previous surgeries on my eyes before implanting a toric lens, paid for out of pocket. After exams from other specialists is was determined that I had developed secondary astigmatism behind the eye that Dr. Bogie did not detect. He had a detailed list of my previous surgeries. My expectations, confirmed by him, were that I would only need over the counter readers to correct my vision after surgery. Now I am stuck with the expense of the toric lens and prescription glasses for a lifetime which have to be worn during all waking hours. I had a conversation with him about my issue and he was uncaring and blew me off. The least he could have done was reimburse me for the toric lens which was useless.

I had a 10:10 appointment time with Dr. Bogie recently and had confirmed several times with the office. I checked in at 10:00 and sat down. At 11:00, after seeing several people that came in after me, get taken back, I went to the desk and ask if my time was wrong. He told me it was right, that they were behind on check in paperwork. I hadn’t been given any at this point! About 20 minutes later, he brought me some, which I filled out. Finally a young man took me back for a brief eye exam and dialation? He set me back in the waiting room where at noon I sat by myself ! Every patient that came after me had been seen. By this time I was really upset so I went up to the desk and told the receptionist I had to leave. Both of them appeared to be flustered and at a loss for words. Finally, she said, well, please call when you can and we’ll reschedule you. No, I’m so sorry for the 2 hour wait or anything! I’ve had a few problems with his staff before, so I’m changing doctors!

Dr Charles Bogie is very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. . He takes time and listens to your concerns and questions. He answers questions in words you can understand. He explains clearly any treatments or procedures he may recommend but does not pressure you to comply. My wife & I moved here from Texas 3 years ago. We were referred to him by our optometrist. So glad he was recommended to us. We will definitely continue to use him as our Opthamologist. I highly recommend Dr. Charles Bogie!

I received an extraordinary level of care from Dr. Charles Bogie. I was visiting Oklahoma City from New York. After a few days in OKC, I developed an extremely painful corneal ulcer and eye infection. Dr. Bogie's staff allowed me to visit his office immediately. Dr. Bogie expertly diagnosed my condition and prescribed treatment. He exhibited an amazing level of concern for me by asking me to call him and report on my progress. On off hours, he opened his office for me and examined me before prescribing another medication because I still was experiencing pain. A few days later, again he opened his office just for me on a holiday and gave me a final consultation. I have never before been treated by such an attentive physician. I highly recommend this caring doctor who provided me with an extraordinary level of care.

NO ONE BETTER THAN DR. DR. BOGIE!!!!!!!!! He really knows his stuff and besides than he is just a nice down to earth man. He explains at your level and mine is kind of way down there. We go to the office in Edmond. I was just fortunate to start going to him about, well some time ago. Another doctor I know well refer me. I got her a lunch for the favor and should have done more. As I am in my 70s I will have to go under the knife before long I am glad he will do it.

Dr. Charles Bogie is very thorough and takes time to explain things well. He is also very caring and knowledgeable. My husband and I are glad we have access to this care.

Dr Bogie is kind, caring and always takes time to listen and answer all questions. He was most helpful and helpful this past year; after, a light stroke. He continually monitored my vision and does so at this time. He is One in A Million; he gave me confidence; when, my face was paralyzed; a wonderful doctor and friend. My deepest respect and trust ( in this busy world of time lines; he takes time and does care. Excellent Ophthalmologist!!

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Bogie for approximately 10 years. We have found him to be informed, organized and caring. We are delighted that he is our Ophthalmologist!

Thought I was seeing Dr. Bogie, as that is who I made appointment with. I saw a very able Optomitrist. He was great, but not what I had asked for. The price of the services was way too much. They would not accept or file my vision insurance. This was not explained to me until I was well into the exam. Learned an expensive lesson. Make SURE to convey and receive info. I had a great exam. But no better than my regular guy.....who I will be going back to for my contacts. Just a heads up folks.

Terrible!! Waiting room has 20 lined up chairs all filled with waiting patients. Very crowded and uncomfortable. No furniture, no magazines, nothing!! Hot, stuffy, and dirty! You have to walk up a long ramp to get to his itty bitty office! You have to see him two times to get a prescription! Never going back! Will not recommend!
