Rude and dismissive
His lack of bedside manner is astonishing. My first appointment with him, He treated me like I was lower than him and tried to fat shame me. Calling me morbidly obese. This last, and I mean last, appointment he asked me how I lost so much weight and before I could tell him, he cut me off and said “well you will have a hard time keeping it off”! Like what?!? I don’t know if he hates his job or just women. Zero stars…do not recommend!!

Worst Doctor
This is the worst doctor I’ve had. He ignored my concerns, said he would send my prescription to the pharmacy, knew I was in a lot of pain. Even had nurses contact him to send my prescription since he forgot but they clearly saw it in his notes. He still has not sent it and I’m stuck dealing with contacting the nurses to try to get a hold of him so I can get my medication so I can function and get better. He was neglectful of his duties to me as a patient.

Dr. Maletz
dismissive, unresponsive to my questions, suggested I should change my diet without knowing what my diet consisted of. Basically went through the motions but didn't show any interest in my concerns.

Dr. Charles Maletz at the Carlsbad Concentra locations is not an honest doctor nor dedicated or genuine when it comes to treating a work injury related patient. He was not honest or professional. He lacked the ability to follow through with additional treatment and blotched my medical report with incorrect information, opinions, and facts on the work injury. He is incapable of treating serious injuries and doing further testing to rule out possibilities or extraordinary circumstances. He was too quick to and rule out the actual diagnosis, leaving the patient in pain and feeling lost, vulnerable, and helpless.I had a horrible experience and now in a really bad situation... loss of income plunged me into financial hardship. I have trust issues with this facility and workers comp doctors. These type of doctors need to be held accountable and made to correct the misinformation that is damaging to the injured worker.
