Put your faith into Striebinger
Dr. Striebinger gave me back my life. He installed a shunt with such precision that it lasted 35 years. That’s just unheard of. He performed a craniotomy into the depths of my brain, disturbing nothing and has been hugely successful in saving my life. When he thinks, I can almost see the wheels turning in his brilliant mind. I trust him like a father.

I had C2-C7 fused due to spinal stenosis. My neighbor and an acquaintance had spinal surgery by him. They highly recommended him, and so do I. Very professional and serious minded.

Choosing Dr. Striebinger to be my neurosurgeon was the biggest mistake of my life. No bedside manner and he tells you whatever you want to hear as far as your surgery. He says you you'll be great! What he doesn't tell you is that he'll leave you in chronic pain for the rest of your life! He is the worst surgeon and he has made my life a nightmare. When I told him his surgery had left me in CHRONIC PAIN he told me that was not his concern. His concern was the surgery. Period.

I've seen Dr. Striebinger since 2006 when I was in my early 20s. I was unable to walk. My primary care Doctor recommended Dr. Striebinger and said: "His bedside manner may not be the best, but HE is the best in KC." After learning I was one of the youngest females the radiologist had ever seen with DDD, Dr. Striebinger scheduled a surgery, but opted to do injections first. He did NOT want to operate on me. He has always taken a conservative approach and I'm extremely grateful.

In 2011, I made the worst decision of my life in choosing Dr. Striebinger to perform spinal fusion on L4-S1. He took bone off my iliac crest which I have since learned that has not been done since the 1990s because that pain never goes away. He said he could fix that in five minutes and gave me two injections that did not work and after the second injection I asked him what was next and he threw his hands up in the air and would never return our phone calls after that. He is the worst doctor!

Still in Extreme Pain in Parkville, MO – Oct 26, 2016

I had a laminectomy in 2012, the doctor said he would take my pain away. However, I cannot move my right foot, severe foot drop, and I stagger when I try to stand still, sometimes fall. So,?he did a terrible job on restoring a normal lifestyle, crippled for life

His assistant is HORRIBLE. She is rude and has the compassion of a porcupine. He is not warm and fuzzy but I didn't need him to be by best friend, just needed a good surgeon.

Staff does not answer phones or return phone calls timely. Doctor does not not listen to patient concerns and address adequately them during office visits. It is difficult to reach the doctor, and only slightly less difficult to reach a PA. Long wait times in-office and doctor does not spend sufficient time explaining procedures or listening to and addressing patient concerns. Not particularly friendly; poor bedside manner, especially for someone about to undergo a surgical procedure.

Poor coomunication with patient and family! Very poor bedside attitude as well. Developed staph infection as a result of the operation immediately following the surgery. It was in all a horrible experience.
