Dr. Charmaine Johnson, DO

She takes a long time to send out referrals to the point I had to go into the office on a day I did not have an appointment and talk to the receptionist, who promptly made an appointment with her PA.

Very poor doctor/ patient relationship. Very slow in sending out referrals and exams were always rushed.

5/4/2020 Hello, PLEASE read it in its entireity before going to the office. Not only have they been paid for work that needs fixed they charge different rates every time they bill your insurance company. IN OTHER WORDS BUYER BEWARE. BTW I have just spent two hours looking up what I paid, what you received from the insurance company and what you charged me. I do not like the way the front desk is handled nor was I given the proper information when I first came in for my procedure or on my phone call when making the apt or during my first appt. When I called I asked if you took Delta Dental and was told YES not that you only took the Delta Dental Premier. That is not only not being upfront with a patient, but very unprofessional Thank you Kathy

Dr. Johnson is the ABSOLUTE worst doctor I have seen in my life. Went to see her because I was not feeling well and when explaining my symptoms she was barely paying attention. All she does is check to see if your blood test results are out of range and pass you off to specialists. She has no skill to properly interpret test results to determine a diagnosis. I wasted two weeks dealing with her and ended up getting diagnosed elsewhere after one visit. Save yourself the headache, PASS ON HER!

I told her about an issue i was having and her gesture was not appropriate. As a patient i should be able to speak freely and not be judged or feel uncomfortable. She was unable to answer my question and i am also upset she laughed at me as if its ok the make your patient feel less. I am surely switching primary care doctor.

I was very satisfied with the attention and time provided to me by Dr. Johnson! I'm surprised by some of these other reviews...

Dr. Johnson is absolutely phenomenal! She's brilliant ,compassionate and empathetic towards her patients concerns. I have recommended her to friends,co-workers and family.

I searched for a woman PCP and was so glad to have found one in my area! The day of my visit, Dr Johnson and her nurse couldn't have been nicer. However, when it came time for a consultation and Rx discussion, Dr. Johnson was extremely distracted with a personal issue. So distracted that she sent 5 Rx, instead of the 3 requested, to the wrong pharmacy, miles from my home. I then had to spend at least 1 hour of my time getting it straightened out. How disappointing! Not sure I'll stay with her.
