Unable to get appointment
I set 2 appointments and each time was contacted later by his staff saying he was not going to be in the office that day. The appointments were scheduled months in advance. I refused to schedule a 3rd appointment but was contacted about a month later saying that they had scheduled me an appointment and was expected to be in his office early the next morning. When I reminded them I had not scheduled the appointment, the scheduler became rude. I told my primary care physician and was informed he had a history of rescheduling appointments and that I needed to schedule with another physician. I would ABSOLUTELY encourage everyone to avoid using this physician!!!! You will wait months for ur appointment only to have it rescheduled. I work in Healthcare and believe they are very unprofessional. I have diabetes and it was a good thing I rescheduled with a different eye doctor. Had I waited on him, I'd likely be blind!

Amazingly skilled doctor ~ remarkable results!!
Dr. Soni was always professional, explained everything well, and I found him to be caring and kind. I was referred to Dr. Soni when my optometrist detected cataracts that needed to be removed. One of my eyes has been fairly useless my entire life, so I went in expecting only the better of my two eyes to undergo surgery and vision correction. But Dr. Soni noticed something that caused him to think there just might be more potential for sight in that previously non-correctable eye than I had believed (and that I had been told by multiple optometrists since childhood). I agreed to let the good doctor see what could be done. And, OH MY GOSH! That eye went from being the "bad" eye, to being the better of the two (from 20/1600 to 20/60) until 2 weeks later when the dominant eye was also operated on (and went from 20/600 to 20/15!). I am SO grateful for Dr. Soni's extreme thoroughness (which DOES take some time ~ bring a book!) and his expertise in his chosen field. Happy patient!!

He was hurried and distracted. I never did get an exam from him, only the assistant. I felt like I was interrupting him. Won't be going back.

Terrible experience. Dr. Soni called myself and my wife liars in regard to printed information provided by his office/CMH offices and cataract removal procedures. Dr. Soni exhibited a belligerent attitude toward patient. Dr. Soni changed his procedure from the printed procedure given initially at the first meeting. Dr. Soni may be a competent doctor, but, he needs lessons on how to communicate with his patients, especially in how to tell the truth and not accuse his patients of lying.

I just recently saw DR. Soni and I am very please on how he explains all of the tests that were done and my results. I am a diabetic and I worry on how this could effect my eyes. Dr. Soni explain to me how being a diabetic could effect my eyes and what we need to watch for. My appointment wasn't until June and his staff was able to get me in on a cancellation. I am very happy with Dr. Soni and all of his staff.

Went in for exam and afterwards he asked me iif I'd experienced any pain which I hadn't and told him so. He acted like he was mad and didn't believe me.His response was well you should be. I was put off by this doctor that I refused a referal he set up with another doctor. And when his office was contacted by the refered doctor I had refused, Dr.Soni's office called me to be sure I refused the referal and got an attitude with me and wished me a good day. Worst Doctor I've ever been to in my
