I, would put the rating on the staff. No answers on portal, i don't believe she receives the messages. My 1st appointment and not a single person who attended to me from front desk to dr. Assistant; Noone introduced themselves to me. Thought that was cold.

On time, accommodating and personable. Both me and my wife see her for diabetic management. We couldn’t be more pleased with Dr M and her assistants.

Do not recommend. Doesn't answer questions left with staff, I have had the wrong prescription sent in multiple times, the prescription written in my notes has been different from what's being prescribed and that still hasn't been corrected even though I have pointed it out multiple times and told it would be corrected. Also does not refill prescriptions on time, and although I will continuously ask for my Rx to be sent in for the medicine I need, on a regular basis, it still doesnt get done. At a complete loss as to why people who just need basics are treated like this.

Dr. was informed about my condition, assessed my condition and offered alternatives to improve my health with no pressure. Excellent experience.

I have been a patient of Dr. Michaelis’ for over 10 years now. She has always been kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable to my situation. She takes her time with me when I visit and makes me feel that I am important.

Very helpful and explains what medications are for. Have been seeing her for several years and am I am very happy with results.

Very good doctor and Dana was helpful today and she explained every step in the procedure she had done for me

We have been with Dr. Michaelis since 2016 when my husband was very ill and in ICU. She carefully evaluated him and adjusted his insulin down to what he really needed. She takes the time to get to know her patients and is very careful to explain conditions and answer questions. We also appreciate how there is rarely ever any wait time more than 10 minutes!!!!

Rushes you thru office visit. Does not take time to assist you with your situation. Do not use any other Endocrinologists at this location, as their support staff is not helpful in returning calls or emails.

No likelihood whatsoever. A "Thyroid Uptake Test" was scheduled for me. It was an entire day at the hospital. Whoops! I was the WRONG patient! Another time I came in for a Prolia injection at a set appt time, and was required to pay the deductible even though the medication hadn't been ordered. I would not recommend her to anyone. If you aren't a diabetes patient, you are unimportant.

I have been seeing Dr. Michaelis for several years for thyroid and pre-diabetes. She is thorough and takes time to answer my questions and provides information and suggestions for improved health. The staff seems very efficient and insurance has always been easy to process.

I've seen many endocrinologists over the years and finally found a good one! Dr. Michaelis was friendly, explained things well and was even able to find my old files from another doctor in the Memorial Hermann system. They even did an ultrasound right there in the office, no rescheduling! The office is a little frenetic, but it was early morning and lots of patients in the waiting room.

Its unfortunate that a doctor can be judge on the unprofessionalism and rudeness of their staff. That is what happened here. I didn't even get to see Dr. Michaelis, I had a late afternoon appt, took off from work to be there & when I got there (15-20mins later) l was told that the Dr. would not be in and I could see a different Dr. or reschedule. I asked why wasn't I called and given those choices before my scheduled appt. The response was "we found out in this morning"
