Hidden Truths
Upon my 1st/initial apptmt, I was filling out new patient paperwork. It was OVER BEFORE I FINISHED! WORSE PART? She had a shadow showing HOW they falsify, lie, & alter medical files of patients while doing...NOTHING. She didn't even LISTEN TO THE PATIENT OR USE THE CURRENT PAPERWORK TO ASSESS ME APPROPRIATELY! I was referred there for Dr. Sin!!! Upon FINALLY filing formal complaint & investigation with State Medical Board of Examiners, investigation launched, contacted by head of department in how to resolve this, AFTER their patient advocacy dptmt NEVER returned a call/message left. I told him I didn't trust them with my life with the numbers of daily deaths they have. He stated he had worked SIDE BY SIDE with her for 20+ years and NEVER heard of such behavior. I asked him where he was on THAT DAY!??!!? He ultimately did NOTHING to resolve my concerns I pressed WITH EVIDENCE of my file being falsified & such towards her punishment/discipline! I cut myself from EVERY Dr there I had.

Visited Her for consultation on spinal damage. She was dutiful and pleasant. She took the time to examine me and did reflex tests on both legs. I cannot speak to her skills as a Neurosurgeon, but she certainly did not take long to see me and did everything to ascertain what my problem was.

No I would not recommend her to anyone...she has a very bad bedside manner and walks out the door before I could finish asking my questions... said she had other patients and I asked if she could answer 3 quick question and she still walked out... And I was in the hospital 3 days and not once did she come see me... and after my surgery she never notified the person who bought me about anything... and they never returned any of my calls... but I'm very dissatisfied with her and the bedside manner she showed me... and once she did my surgery I felt like I wasn't a patient anymore... just a number on a folder...I drove 4 hrs to Shreveport just to get a 10 minute office visit and had to drive another 4 hrs to get home... I felt that all she was worried about was getting paid from my insurance and all well it is what it is after that... but no I would not recommend her to any of my family and friends....

I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. I went in to see her after 3 doctors referred me to see a neurosurgeon after being in a motor vehicle accident. 3 doctors told me that I have several bulging and ruptured discs in my back and that I have a fracture in my back. I went to see her and her physicians assistant came in and asked some questions and 1 of the questions was if I had an attorney involved in the accident case and when they found out that there was an attorney involved, they wanted nothing to do with me. It's a damn shame that they wanted nothing to do with me and that I have to sit here and fight with the pain until I can see another neurosurgeon for a second opinion. The doctor spent less than 2 minutes in the room with me and didn't do anything. When she walked in the room, the door hadn't even closed all the way yet and she was claiming nothing is wrong with me without even examining me but yet I can barely walk. The doctor and staff was very rude.

She preformed Brain surgery on my 13 year old nephew to remove a 2 CM mass and did such a wonderful job. He hasn't experienced any pain in the area of the surgery at all and she and the others that where responsible for his care where amazing and talked in terms that he could understand and ease his mind. Thank you for taking such good care of him during his stay and may God Bless you and guide you in your other surgery cases.
