Outstanding Doctor
I delayed addressing a problem I was having for at least 10 years. My internist recommended that I see Dr. Seo. Dr. Seo made a very uncomfortable situation a pleasure. She listened, explained and solved my problem immediately. I should not have waited this long. I am so very happy and thankful for this experience. Excellent doctor!! I wish all of my problems could be so easily solved!

Worst Doctor Ever !!!!!
A good doctor should listen, show empathy, and treat patients with respect—unfortunately, that was not the case here. I would never recommend her to anyone. If you’re looking for a doctor who truly cares, I strongly advise seeking care elsewhere.

Best Doctor
I have been going to Dr Seo for minor procedures over several years. Recently I had a colonoscopy and I cannot be more satisfied how the procedure went and how Dr Seo discussed the results. I have had several colonoscopy's , but none performed as well as with Dr. Seo.

I went in to see Dr Seo for a minor procedure. After discussing my issues Dr. Seo never examined me but just proceed to do the procedure based off of our conversation. I asked her what was next and she handed me a paper with a list of items to pick up at the drug store and never told me of any side effects. The next day I developed painful side effects and when I tried to call her no one answered and left a voicemail. I had to wait 3 days until someone got back to me and insisted on speaking to Dr. Seo. Dr. Seo spoke with me about what happened she became very defensive and insisted that she did not have to tell me about possible effects. It is now 3 weeks later and I am still suffering the side effects. I had to find another resource to help me so I did not have to deal with Dr. Seo again. I found her to be uncaring and unprofessional as a patient asking her for help.

I had very painful, external, golf-ball-sized hemorrhoids, which I had dealt with before almost 10 years ago. I was so happy to get in to see a dr about it quickly (she took me in the following day), because the pain was unbearable! She was very nice, however, the appt felt rushed and all I was told was to have fiber and take hot baths (both of which I was already doing). She emphasized prevention, which I understand, but when I am already sitting on an excruciating, golf-ball-sized lump, we are beyond the point of prevention. She said she could “cut them out” but that I would just be in pain from that too so there was really no point. I was so shocked to have such a severe case (and such severe pain), and zero treatment or pain relief. Now I am sitting at home in severe pain praying it just goes away. I guess I will just go to the ER if I am unable to continue handling the pain.

I have used Dr. Seo in the past and have recommended her to friends and family however I will not be using her services again after my experience yesterday. I waited for my appt for approx 30-40 mins and when it was time to see the doctor I was asked to fill out forms since I had not seen her in a while, when I told them everything was the same that was not acceptable, I was my lunch and sat for 30 mins doing nothing. When I called to voice my complaint, the office manager then turned the blame to me stating they did not know I was on lunch. It should not matter. I will not return to this office, even after speaking directly to the doctor, she didn't seem to care if she lost me as a patient.

Overall, one of the worst experiences Ive had! Went to her for hemorrhoid issue. To make a long gory story short, 4 horrible banding procedures later, and having her CONSTANTLY telling to take fiber, my issue became 100x worse. Never once did she consider looking into the issue of what was causing my stomach problems, which led to the hemorrhoids. She just INSISTED that I download my body with FIBER. 9 horrible months under her awful care, and incessant need to do the expensive banding procedure, I went to a GI doctor, who with just one test, found out that I had COLITIS! Also, informing that banding would NEVER help the issue! Months of Fiber absolutely worsened by stomach issues, and the banding just caused me massive pain and $$$.. since insurance DID NOT cover all of it! All along I tried to tell her that I there was something more to my issues, but she just stayed her course and followed her own medical agenda. Needless to say, I am consulting a malpractice attorney!

I went to Dr. Seo for a hemroid n was told I have a fissure. She examined me very rough and called one of the assistants from the front desk to aid her in putting rubber band on hemroid. I was in extreme pain when I left her office. She was in a hurry to do surgery and kept saying "your rectum is just too tight" well isn't tht the way the rectum should be. Long story short I was misinformed and went through with surgery to be left in more pain. Not a good experience. I went to another colon Rectal surgeon after the damage was done and was told tht my rectum is normal and not to under go any more surgeries. Still in pain till this day from surgery she performed

Dr. Seo missed a diagnosis that could have avoided my undergoing colon surgery. I went to her twice for severe abdominal pain. She prescribed over the counter meds. Had she looked at my medical and colonoscopy history, she would have known that I have diverticulosis. She never checked. In fact she told me it’s been 3 years since my last colonoscopy when SHE performed the last one just 4 months prior. Her incompetence caused me weeks of suffering severe pain and eventually a correct diagnosis and surgery by another doctor. She missed it!!

I was horrified with my appointment. I went to Dr. Seo for a consult regarding hemorrhoids. It started well--we discussed the condition, and she told me she would put tiny rubber bands on them to shrink them. Then, in the exam room, she was very brusk. She called in two employees who had been at the front desk answering phones to assist her. That was my first red flag. Then she told me to kneel on the exam table, "pull down my underwear, pull up my dress, and lean over." All this in front of two people who did not seem to be medical professionals. I felt very violated. Afterward, Dr. Seo told me about how to treat the hemorrhoids, which I believe was the right information. But it was very unsettling (I have given birth twice and have had regular Pap smears; I am usually not squeamish when exams are conducted properly). I called Dr Seo to ask about the assistants. She said they aren't docs or RNs but have certification (but she doesn't know what) and she became indignant. Ughhhhhhh

I'm always busy like everyone else I know and the truth is I never stop to take the time . But I just came from DR. Christina Seo's office for a follow up. I've known doctors that I thought where skilled physicians . I've also known some doctors that I felt where very caring . And I have been to some that are exceptionally thorough. I also know that some doctors are not just doctors they are also surgeons. And some are truly skilled surgeons . MD. Christina Seo , is all of the above and more.

Doctor was courteous and friendly. My only complaint is that the examination was conducted in swift & rough manner which cause much pain. I also didn't feel that she made a thorough enough of examination to make proper diagnosis. Worst part of it is that since my visit, the condition worsened and am now in more pain than ever.

Dr. Seo is a life saver. I was referred to her by a different gastroenterologist after Columbia surgeon recommended an invasive surgery with recovery time of 3 weeks. The surgery was absolutely not necessary (just a way to build my insurance) and Christina resolved my hemorrhoid issues right there on the spot. I had to wait for 40 minutes, yet to her credit she spent that entire time with 1 patient and offered me the same courtesy. Grateful to meet someone who is not charging by minute.

I was not at all happy with my visit. She was very quick to diagnose without listening to any of my symptoms or complaints. Her assessment was quick and not thorough at all. She gave me a cream which I called to tell her was burning and causing me more pain but she told me to continue. I ended going to the ER from worse pain than when I saw her. I followed up with another Dr who actually listened and assessed. He found the problem and was able to treat me properly. Paying over $200 to see her?
