Doctor Christopher Gallus, DO is an Orthopedic Surgeon in Colorado Springs, CO. He is likely to appear among “America’s Best Doctors” as seen in slick magazines placed in the back of airplane seats. He is immersed in his profession because it’s his passion. During my initial visit he listened with rapt attention as if hearing details of his first case of spinal stenosis and degenerative discs. His assessment of my condition and related causes were precisely accurate. His demeanor was such that we established an amicable doctor/patient rapport well before my surgery. The relationship inspired my deepest trust and confidence in his skills. It came as no surprise when I learned he is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedics for the University of Colorado School of Medicine. His surgical skills resolved my neck and shoulder pain issues with aplomb. On your next flight look for Doctor Chris Gallus as one of “America’s Best Orthopedic Surgeons”.

Had ruptured disk, and by the time the insurance got all approved, it was ruptured on both sides of L5. Dr. Gallus performed the surgery, and I walked out of the hospital and literally had NO PAIN. I only experience some minor stiffness over the course of a few days. I limited my activity as instructed but felt I could have done about anything I desired. The surgery was great, and Dr. Gallus was wonderful. I would highly recommend him and would definitely go back to him if necessary. Was absolutely great.

Dr Gallus was informative and compassionate before, during and after my surgery. He did fantastic job on my L4/L5 surgery. After 18 months of intensive physical therapy had failed to get me back to full activity, surgery was the next step, and I was in good hands with Dr Gallus.

Dr. Gallus has been a part of my life for roughly two years (including pre- and post-surgery time). My back pain was intolerable and Christopher Gallus gave me hope and now relief from my agony. I have tossed aside my cane and now stand tall instead of stooped over. My balance and overall outlook have improved immensely. Dr. Gallus is a talented, caring surgeon and an even better person. He is always friendly, compassionate and humane (as is his entire staff). While I hope to not have to see him again for medical reasons, I will miss visiting with him, Jordan Bull, and the other gracious members of his team. Once a month his team flies to rural Colorado to see patients that do not live close to Castle Rock. This is a tremendous service that has saved me countless hours in travel time and pain. He has my confidence and highest recommendation. I will miss his compassionate personality and positive attitude (and his cowboy boots). Dr. Christopher Gallus is a man of Grace.

**Highly recommended ** Went to Dr Gallus as a second opinion. So knowledgeable polite and understanding. He explained everything to me, spent a long time during first visit discussing what needed to be done. Keep in mind my first highly recommended Surgeon did not even do a neurological exam on me. Asking myself who is a RN nurse what neuro surgeon does that? I had low back pain with neurological deficits. Pain 12 out of 10. After surgery I now have 0 pain. Dr Gallus is the best!!

Went to see Dr. Gallus in excruciating pain said he couldn't help after waiting weeks to see him. Then he recommends me to an associate of his for injections. Of course you can't get an appointment from this doctor for another 2 weeks. Didn't give me anything to help with the pain. Go to see his referral and yet another week wait after this appointment to get an injection. Again, nothing to help get through this pain until they can help me. If you are in pain to the point it is unbearable N

He spent a good amount of time listening and answering my questions and concerns. He took a conservative approach towards with my neck problem. He also had good bedside manners. I have a good deal of confidence in his level of expertise as a spinal surgeon.

Have not met Dr. Gallus as yet. First consultation was with his PA-C , Stephanie Pierce. She was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and professional in her exam of my father. I was quite impressed.
