Long Time Patient doesn’t recommend Dr. Laganke
I’ve been seeing Dr Laganke for approximately 12 years. He is a great person and specialist in his field. He really does listen and cares for his patients; however, if you need follow-up, expect nothing. The phone system is antiquated and I don’t want to spend half a day trying to get help. I called 3 weeks after last appointment bc meds for depression didn’t work any longer. Left messages with the nurses twice, texted him my message, and I got no response. I’m not going to stress myself out over this office and doctor. Yes, he is good when you have his attention, but if you have a flare or the meds you had, stop working, you will likely be in a bind, a terrible bind that happened before the holidays for meThankfully, I found help. Reached out to an online psychiatrist and got an appointment within 48 hours and a medication to help. I have moved on to a neurologist closer. Save yourself some grief, don’t get started with this office. There are others better.

He exceeded my highest expectations
I have been extremely blessed by finding Dr. Laganke. MS is progressive, and after having it for decades it was getting really bad. I was getting more frequent flares that would last for months, and for the last 3 years I have been admitted to the hospital for inpatient treatment 12 times. I heard about Dr. Laganke from a woman in my MS support group, and how he had really improved the quality of her life in the years she has been seeing him. I finally felt some hope in the process of keeping me independent for as long as possible. That hope became a fact since I started seeing him.

Excellent practice!
I met with Ryan on my first few visits. He was very thorough and well informed of my condition and provided me with information and a plan for an accurate diagnosis. We proceeded with all MRI and finally a Lumbar Puncture, for a definitive diagnosis. The staff support team is kind , and caring. The only negative thing about the practice is telephone communication, very slow and frustrating.

Best in the field
I've been his patient for over ten years and drive five hours to see him. He is knowledgeable about my condition (multiple sclerosis) and an advocate for patient therapies. Most importantly, he listens and takes time with patients, and his bedside manner is immaculate. I always leave appointments feeling better and hopeful.

Best MS Doctor EVER
I didn’t know I had MS; but Dr LaGanke almost immediately identified it. Once I knew it explained my physical, cognitive & mental struggles. I was able to participate in a drug year long study; which changed my life. He has a breath of knowledge on a spectrum of medical conditions He never rushes an appointment.

His life mission is treating MS
Dr. Laganke has been a lifesaver for our daughter after her local doctor diagnosed her with MS. The wait in his office is terrible because his patient load is huge but when you see him, he gives his undivided attention.

love Dr Laganke but when ever I call it is forever to get an answer. Plus my Dr called them and told them I needed an appointment with Dr Laganke because I had not be able to get through in years to get an appointment so My dr called for me, they made me an appointment with Dr Pam Quinn. I didn't want to see her because she had told me 2 times I had MS, yrs ago. But once I got to see Dr Laganke he said it was Sjogrens , well I haven't got to see Dr Laganke in about 4 yrs now when My Dr called and made this appointment. Well The lady on the phone said if I didn't have MS I couldn't see Dr Laganke. Well DUH ! how do I know if it has gotten worse or what bc I didn't say I had MS I told her I had Sjogrens. So she would not let me see Dr Laganke. So I hope he see's this and calls me in.

He is the best MS specialist ever! He is very caring and compassionate. I have been seeing him for 12+ years. He saved my life. He takes his time with his patients and truly wants to find a cure for MS. Sometimes the wait can be long but I would honestly wait patiently no matter how long it might take.

I’m concerned about the dr getting his msgs. Several months ago I was in the hospital. The hospital requested my record by fax and they never replied on a few occasions I spoke to I believe one of his nurses and said they would seek the information I needed and would call me. They never called. Recently I called a couple times to ask about treatment Eventually I’m told there was a note in my chart from the dr. No one followed up nor pass that info to me. I took me nearly 2 mo to get any reply Even now I’m waiting for a course of action. I feel the staff is very nice and polite but somewhat incompetent

Dr.Laganke is a very good neurologist who definitely cares about you. I have been a patient of his for over 5 years. He explains everything about my MS and follow up visits very well. But, his nurse Dawn and office manager Jim Brown have been rude, condescending and bullying . They both have control over when and even if I get my medications. I am not the only patient who is having trouble with them. I have been afraid of saying anything but not anymore. What they have said to me is criminal.

Has the worst staff for such critical care. My wife is treated by dr.laganke. She has difficulty getting someone on the phone to get monthly prescriptions filled.she applied for social security disability in August 20018. She was denied because dr lagankes staff did not provide medical records. Very frustrating to deal with . Laganke my be a good doctor but his staff is a game changer for me. I would not recommend this group to my worst enemy.
