Dr McLeod is amazing! His skill, compassion and knowledge gave me my life back. My issue was a little complicated but Dr. McLeod told me from the first visit that he knew what was wrong and he knew how to fix it! Best doctor I know.

One of The Best all around
I don’t have the words to express how grateful my family is to Dr. McLeod. My 17 year old son had a difficult case of SVT and needed a 2nd surgery/ablation. I’m so very thankful for Dr. McLeod, his team of doctors as well as Mayo Clinic for the attention to every detail that was needed for my son. My son’s surgery took 8 hours to preform and from the very minute I met this incredible man, I knew he would give it everything he had to make this surgery a successful one. From my son’s surgery to his recovery stage has just been outstanding. Top notch all the way!

Dr. McLeod called to discuss the appropriateness of implanting a defibrillator. He covered all issues thoroughly and gave me great confidence that I had the information necessary to make a truly “informed decision”. So happy I had the wisdom of Dr. McLeod to decide how to proceed.

I have been traveling to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida several times for about two years to be seen by Dr Christopher McLeod. In my opinion, He is one of the most Intelligent and caring doctors I have met. Dr. McLeod and his Pace team has improved my life so much, that I continue to travel back to Jacksonville Florida, so I have the best chance of continuing a productive life at 68 years old. Another electrophysiologist told me I was considered clinically and medically dead about five years ago, after having no brain activity for more then 38 minutes. Even after being hit 5 times with the external defibrillator and 24 hours in therapeutic hypothermia, so now I depend on Dr. McLeod to keep me going strong.

Dr. McLeod is the consummate professional, without being condescending at all. He listens and truly takes the time to understand that one size does not fit all. He is a rare breed and I would trust NO one else with my heart health. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment with him consider yourself blessed!!!!

Dr. McLeod completed a very difficult heart ablation on me in May, 2019. I've had three open heart surgeries, resulting in a lot of scar tissue, which greatly complicated the surgery. Nine months later I am so much better- no palpitations whatsoever, and it used to be almost all the time. To say that he is an exceptional surgeon would still be an understatement!
