He replaced my hip
Dr Vinton is and excellent surgeon. He did my hip replacement at 79 years old. Was walking without a walker or cane in under two weeks, I had good pt people too. His whole staff are very friendly and helpful His right hand man Seth Diagnosed me when DR Vinton was away for several weeks. You wont get any better than these people.

Changed My LIFE !
Dr. Vinton came highly recommended and he was great. Answered all of my questions he has great communication skills along with good bed manners. I just had my right hip replaced after many years of pain. I am excited to improve my quality of and knew I couldn’t continue in the same path. He also clean up many bone spurs. Prior to the surgery I had little to no movement with my right hip. In short he changed my life ! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Vinton . Next year I will get my left hip replaced

Hip replacement surgery
At age 79 I had a left hip replacement procedure done by Dr. Vinton and his staff at the Shrewsbury Ambulatory Surgery Center. The procedure went as well as I could have hoped and my recovery has been even better. Within a week I was getting impatient with my walker and moved on with no desire to use a cane or crutch. The new hip feels like my own except that for the first time in several years I can twist to my left with no pain. I am able to now carry on with most activities including mowing the lawn and working, carefully, on my tennis and golf strokes. I am being careful when active but have to focus on that when on the move because I have no pain in my hip. I am grateful for the good work of Dr. Vinton and his staff.

My Husband saw Dr. Vinton about 14 months ago for hip surgery. He had a 38 year old crush injury on his hip, a tractor ran him over. He was on a high dose of narcotics to deal with the pain. He had been told he would have to live with it. Then we met Dr. Vinton and he said he could help. We did not expect the surgery to make him 100 % better, but it gave him a great deal relief and he was able to get off of narcotics. He is an excellent surgeon.

Dr Vinton was the 6th md I saw for torn abductor tendons! Had previously been seen multiple times at sports med clinic at umass hahneman campus. After 3 cortizone injections and 3 mri's still no improvement! Dr Vinton reattatched the hip tendons & I received exceptional care from him! His surgical expertise is outstanding! He explains procedures in depth. He listens to you and doesn't rush the appointment! He is caring and compassionate! Dr Vinton is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon!

Excellent Doctor, great bedside manner, good communicator and highly skilled in his profession. Planning on a knee surgery after he did a great job on my shoulder. I had one other great orthopedic surgeon and a real lemon in the past. They are not all created equal.

Dr. Vinton did rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder in May of 2013. I returned to Dr. Vinton in December 2016 to have my rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder done. So recovery has been slow with some other medical setbacks PT has been delayed. Dr. Vinton is the best in his field. Knows what he's doing. Answers questions. Good bedside manners. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vinton to family and friends.

Struggled with debilitating hip pain for 2 years. Prior orthopedics missed the diagnosis. Dr. Vinton diagnosed and confirmed the problem immediately. I was in surgery shortly later and got my life back because of him. I wouldn't be walking without his knowledge and skill as a surgeon. I'm now less than one year out of surgery and am back to living a very active lifestyle. I've never been more impressed with a Dr. in my life (and have seen many due to 13 fractures and two prior surgeries).
