Shoulder surgery
Dr Riley reviewed my MRI. He explained that there was a bone spur that had torn my rotator cuff all the way through and a torn labrum. He recommended surgery. He scheduled surgery as soon as possible. I had heard horror stories about shoulder surgery. Dr Riley did outpatient surgery. I did not have any pain! There was a little discomfort. Thank you God and Dr Riley!!

Dr Riley may be a fantastic surgeon, but I’ll never know because his bedside manner was so terrible. He was abrupt and did not explain any of the findings from my mri. I went to him for a second opinion before having surgery with another doctor to see if Dr Riley agreed with his opinion & also to see if I felt that he would be a better surgeon. There is no chance that I would ever go back to him for any sort of care.

He may have explained surgery but I’m beginning to think I didn’t even need surgery, 6 yr ago and my shoulder hurts just as bad as it did, (or more) he had no personality. He didn’t care to hear what I had to say ab the pain I was experiencing in my shoulder! I think he gave me an injection in my shoulder! He did so many surgeries lined up that day I think he just slopped my shoulder up! Now I have injections ab every 3-4 months because it hurts so bad! Would I recommend him? No Way!

Arrogant and condescending. Tries to make me feel stupid when I ask a question. I guess he skipped the bedside manners class. Results are questionable. This is a nightmare. These are stressful times and he has done nothing to increase my confidence in our healthcare system.

Arrogant not interested in explaining anything only focused on surgery even though he couldn’t say for sure what was wrong with my arm and if other treatments could help me

Dr. Riley performed rotator cuff surgery on my shoulder. He was professional and answered all of my questions during my visits. When I called the office I immediately connected to someone who would help me. He has a strict protocal for post-op and therapy which I followed. My PT at Carson's PT in EE recommend Dr. Riley and I am glad she did.
