Dr. Cory Heal, MD

My husband and I cannot even find the words to Express my gratitude for Dr. Heal and his professional and compassionate radiology staff. Dr. Heal and his staff truly care for patients. Dr. Heal listens and answers your questions and doesnt rush your appointment with him which is a hard quality to find in doctors anymore. He always follows through with what he says he will do right away. I am so thankful for the exceptional, expertise and skillful knowledge on how he treated my cancer. Dr. Heal is truly a remarkable doctor!

I have been battling Cancer since 2001 and have been blessed with a number of very good doctors. Two stand out, one in California and Dr. Cory Heal here in Arizona. His total command of his field of expertise is obvious. Additionally, his knowledge of what is new and groundbreaking and his ability to gain access to what is best for your particular needs is impressive. I could continue with such a list but what puts him in that special best of the best catagory, that 5 plus catagory is the relationship he establishes with his patients. He takes whatever time is needed to talk with you and learn about any special needs or concerns you may have, about negative impacts because of any of your other existing conditions as well as any possible side effects due to your current status with cancer. And above all that, his availabilty outside the office is unmatched by any doctor I have known. He understands how important it is to be accessable to his patients to address any important issues.

I'm very fortunate to have Dr. Heal and the staff of Arizona Center for Cancer Care looking after the special someone in my life. Dr. Heal is open and honest about his plans for treatment, extrudes confidence and empathy when discussing options. The technology is current and advanced; it’s amazing what radiation therapy can do! I not only recommend him to others but hope that in their hour of need, they are able to turn to Dr. Heal and AZ CCC for help.

Dr. Heal is a very friendly, and caring doctor. My wife received excellent care from him. We felt he took the time to fully explain all procedures and gave great follow up. His office was also very friendly and helpful in scheduling appointments.

Dr. Heal gave my wife and I plenty of time and answered every question well. He explained several possibilities for my wife's treatment and put her at ease. I wish that every physician was this thorough.

Doesn’t seem to know much about my condition and kept referring me to see another specialist; did not inform me of scan results; appears to have somewhat of a passive-aggressive bedside manner when questioned about specifics which he apparently has trouble answering clearly.
