Dr. Cynthia Angel, MD

Dr. Angel is amazing! She is kind, truly listens to you, and treats you like you are an important individual to her. Her knowledge is exceptional. I was sent to her by my oncologist for a second opinion to see if there was anything else that could be don to help me. She came up with a plan that WORKED!

Dr. Angel saved my life with her expertise in clinical judgment. She also is an excellent surgeon, who is very experienced. Dr. Angel is wise, as well as kind hearted! I am blessed to have her as my Oncologist/and Surgeon!??

Dr. Angel is an angel. She is compassionate while being forthright and precise. She takes the time to answer any and every question you have. She personally called me regarding the results of a biopsy (which was beneign) to set my mind at ease. Her group is also very attentive when I needed to contact them on off hours. Between her expertise and bedside manner I would highly recommend her to anyone in need.

Dr Angel has been my oncologist for over a year. She is up to date with the latest treatment recommendations for your individul type of gynecologic cancer. She always asks me what I would like to do as far as treatment choices. She shows me the actual CAT scan pictures, not just the written report. She answers all my questions openly and honestly. She does not just prescribe the standard of care treatment for me, she considers my quality of life and asks my opinion regarding treatment options.

I cannot say enough! She and Jane are my "people!"

Cancer is horrible dark disease but Dr. Angel was a light in that darkness. Jane the NP always got back to me when I had any issues be it related to my surgery or my treatment. They all were truly concerned about the whole person, the whole family actually. They even worked well with the insurance company!

I was referred here from my primary dr in Ithaca. I was very happy with dr angel in her office and after my surgery. She tells you like it is and never seemed to be in a hurry. I am very happy that she is my dr.

Dr. Angel hides behind her nurse Jane. Jane is the gate keeper. You can never speak with the Dr. because Jane takes all the calls and when you're in the office she rushes the Dr. out of the exam room so there is no time to speak with her. Not that Dr. Angel wants to speak with you. When she does during the exam Dr. Angel addresses all types of gynecological cancer diagnoses as ovarian cancer. When you correct her about your particular diagnosis, her response is that they are all the same.
