Brilliant Doctor and Excellent, Very Staff
Highly recommend Dr. Moore to all women facing cancer in this area of medicine. He's a skilled surgeon and was attentive and had a thoughtful manner during each visit. Dr. Moore handled all of my appointments throughout my chemo treatments answering all of my questions and addressing all concerns. I never felt rushed. He was also very encouraging and even humorous at times. The NP took over for the last few after I was 'in the clear.' After going to Dr. Moore for the last 5 years, I can say I was very confident and trusting of Dr. Moore and his entire staff. Excellent experience.

He knows his stuff REALLY well. Bedside manner is a bit rough around the edges but this man is not idle. He goes goes goes so so I doubt he has time for holding someone's hand and coddling them. Frankly, he's my fav doctor simply because he IS the best. Read his bio. He's one smart cookie in his area of expertise. I had endometrial adenocarcinoma. Oh, one suggestion. Don't make jokes when he's in his "zone". I know. . Trust me he's the best there is.

More into his research than his patients. You will be seen almost exclusively by a NP if not accepting his hard sell to be part of his latest study. In the rare occasion he saw me, his focus was on twisting my arm to choose being part of his research, other than that handed off to NP. More than once confused my case with another patient. I had to correct him or he would have made my TX plan based on someone else. Lost confidence in him for many reasons. Certainly does not work as an interested partner with his patients for their benefit. He sees himself as a big wig, way above his patients and staff who walk rather timidly around him. Not a good place to be when in the fight for your life with cancer. He has talent, but is biding his time until retirement…has to finish off those research projects first, though! Quite full of himself.

Richard Moore, M. D. is one of the finest east coast doctors ever. He attended me in 2007, had me in the hospital within three days to remove a cancerous tumor, I recovered within four days, that is how good Sir Richard Moore is! Brillant, friendly, very aware! Thank you, Celeste Davison

Withheld information about test results, diagnosis and treatment. This denied the patient and family the right to make informed decisions. Provided information on 2 different occasions that was inconsistent to what he had previously said. Makes self unavailable if patient/family have questions or concerns. Vague statements when giving test results, "It is what we expected", "headed in the right direction" When asked questions his response was "you have to trust me,"
