Excellent job on my total joint replacement
Dr Cook is truly an expert and he did a great job on my upper jaw surgery and total TMJ joint replacement.- a very picky patient who is also a nurse

Compassionate physician with Excellent results
We worked with Dr. Cook and his staff for over one year while my adult child with special needs went through an extraction and then the implant process. Dr. Cook is kind, listens and respects the patient and follows through to ensure everything is done exceptionally. I recommend him to everyone. You will get the best care and results.

I agree that Dr. Daniel Cook is a good surgeon, but his bedside manner is a disaster! He has no regard to how he makes a patient feel, physically and mentally. And he makes you feel like you shouldn't ask questions, and he talks over you. Very arrogant and gives a vibe of "greater than thou". I do not recommend!!!!!!

I had a recent visit with Dr. Cook that I was not satisfied with. After waiting 1+ hours to finally see him, I wandered into the hallway and found him clicking away on his IPhone. He gave me a half hearted apology saying he was dealing with an emergency at other office. My response was “I understand” but it would have been nice if he had just told me this. I thought it was disrespectful. It was obvious he had not looked at my file or the MRI Results I brought with me. He did a good job explaining the causes of my current TMJ condition, but then made it difficult for me to ask questions and/or he would talk over my comments. His description of the jaw surgery and long recovery convinced me I was not ready to proceed down this path at this time. I suppose learning this was helpful, but not worth the excessive consultation fee I was charged. I don’t think I would recommend Dr. Cook to a friend or family member based on this experience.

NO. I would not recommend D. Cook to my worse enemy! Allowing D Cook and his INTERN to perform MMA surgery on me in 2018 was the biggest mistake of my life! I should have known it was a mistake when he never allowed me to ask questions and the one visit when he spoke so loud during the appointment that everyone in his office closed their doors from embarrassment and the 2-3 temper tantrums he pitched. But the biggest sign for me should have been the day I was in his office and "I pointed out the closure in my throat/blocked airway...something he NEVER found on his own! The day after my surgery his intern stop by my hospital room and literally broke my nose by twisting it when I told him how painful and crooked it was. I ended up having 4 surgeries between Dec 2018 - May 2019 on my nose from it being broke in 3 places! In the midst of all this D COOK would never allow me to see the intern that performed the surgery. I have ZERO feeling in my upper/lower jaw and my teeth!

Dr. Cook and the entire staff at the Denver location are absolutely amazing. Dr. Cook preformed a bilateral jaw joint replacement surgery on me on May 21, 2019, due to osteoarthritis in the jaw joints. After seeing two other doctors that I was not comfortable with, Dr. Cook came highly recommended by a friend. I drove from the Atlanta area for a consultation appointment. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I was where I needed to be. Dr. Cook spent 2 and a half hours talking to my husband and me about my diagnosis, types of treatment options, and the surgery. He explained the good, the bad, and the ugly of this type of surgery. He fully answered every question we had. I am now 6 weeks post-OP and feeling wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Cook to anyone seeking treatment for jaw replacement surgery. I highly recommend anyone having jaw joint replacement surgery to see Dr. Cook.

Excellent surgeon. We took our 96 year old mom with dementia who needed 9 teeth extracted. So impressed with his care from selecting an anesthesia which had no impact on mom's dementia, to skillfully completing the procedure. His staff is equally competent and caring. Dr. Cook even came out with my mom to help her into our car. You do not see that many caring Doctors anymore. His prices were fair and reasonable. Worth the drive to Denver NC.
