Amazing.
I went to Dr. Hammond several years ago. I was having problems with trigger finger on both hands. I didn't know how to correct it. He told me what was needed. It was a minor surgery. He did give me the option of scheduling a surgery and going in under anesthetic and get it done or I could do it in the office. I chose to do it in the office. I've never been sorry. I've told everybody about him. I will only go back to him with an issue I'm having with my hand. He is very good at what he does. I would highly recommend him

Wait was minimal-15 mins. All staff pleasant. Dr, Hammon was attentive and looked at my x-rays, which I'd brought. He described his observations and gave a a bit of insight that I didn't have prior to the visit. Of course, I would've wanted a complete resolution option for my issue, but limitations in hand orthopedics are not any physicions fault. He told me about the current standard of care and while I don't like it, it is current best practice. I am satisfied with my visit today and will consider a return in the future should a hand need arise.

Very arrogant, hardly spent any time listening to my concerns, very rushed, and didn’t say much about what he had seen on the X-ray. Did not want to do MRI like I asked. Acted like he was going to pay for it. He was surprised when I said I didn’t want to do anything about my symptoms. Had to have my PCP give me a referral for a second opinion because she did listen to my symptoms.

Over the past few years I have had two different surgeries performed by Dr. Hammond; carpal tunnel, trigger thumbs and trigger finger. I feel Dr. Hammond is a highly skilled surgeon and I got the expected results we had discussed both times after healing was complete. He and his staff are honest, kind and caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Hammond to my friends and family.

I saw Dr. Hammon for an issue with my hand. After examining me, and putting me through some painful exams, mind you, he basically told me I use my hands too much. Obviously, I do and I believed him, but when I went to elaborate on my symptoms, he shut me down and basically told me I was wrong and that there was nothing he could really do - all the while talking to me like a 5 year old. He also lost another star because IHC sometimes makes me feel like a number in a factory and not a patient.

I was baffled by Dr. Hammon's unprofessional behavior. He was arrogant, rude, condescending, and I would highly recommend choosing a different doctor.

I have seen both Dr. Hammon and Dr. William Gowski, who both work in the same office and do the same work. I've had multiple wrist and elbow injuries and have seen both doctors multiple times, including surgery. My advice to you is DO NOT make an appointment with Dr. Hammon, choose Dr. Gowski instead. Dr. Hammon has been rude and unprofessional during 3 separate appointments during a period of about 5 years. This last visit he basically said he thought I was making up the pain in my wrist.

He did a fantastic job in fixing my broken thumb from a snowmobiling accident a few years ago. I have complete mobility now. He was professional and confident in his approach. I would recommend Dr. Hammon to anyone who is in a similar situation as I was.
