Money hungry office. Very expensive for office visits as insurance is not accepted. He also gets a large kickback on the supplements he tells you to take. I was doubled up on many herbs and vitamins and when I asked about it I was told I could adjust any of them as I wanted. I was also told I did not need a probiotic for my stomach issues to which no other doctor I’ve met would ever agree to. For Rx meds I could never get refills. The last 2 I asked for 3 weeks and my pharmacy requested all with no response. I’ve been charged for things sometimes but not at other times, and when questioned an office staff person said “sometimes he does and sometimes he doesn’t”. Messages through the portal are not quickly responded to and responses are typically 1 sentence and not covering all questions or concerns. Any messages left on voicemail have never been returned. Many of us go to him with complicated health history’s, and this is not the attentiveness or care that should be expected.

Doc doesn’t do prior authorizations for insurance, so you are basically on your own. He talks about his care for patients, but won’t do this?? Come on man.... Also gets a significant kickback from the supplements he recommends to you. It is spelled out in the paper you sign after you pay his insane fee. You have been warned.

I was sent to Dr. Kalb by my primary physician due to receiving tests results that I HAD 2 strains of Lyme Disease and Alpha-gal another tick born syndrome. Dr. Kalb was awesome. He listened attentively, and after blood work, he designed a treatment program just for me to suit my needs due to a DNA marker he discovered that without his diligent research and discovery may have not been as effective. After 2 treatments per week I was totally cured of Lyme Disease in 3 1/2 months!! He is so knowledgeable, understanding and an absolutely joy to be around. His whole staff is awesome! Dr. Kalb is always available to answer any questions on his patient portal. If you have Lyme Disease I recommend him highly!!

This man saved my life. I tested positive for rocky mountain spotted fever, had lyme disease, an air hunger illness that was successfully treated with mepron, came up positive for anaplasmosis 6 months later from the initial negative test at another doctor's office. My immune system was overwhelmed and I was so sick. The 10 days doxy did nothing for me, and I had been told the rocky mountain test must be false or I couldn't be standing. As it was I was barely standing, and out of my mind. I would've been in a nursing home, dead, or a psychiatric place if it weren't for Dr. Kalb.

If you're in the TN, KY, AL area and are experiencing symptoms you believe are related to a tick/flea bite Dr. Kalb is one of very few MD's in the area to not only accurately diagnose but treat you. He carefully listens, acurrately diagnoses and effectively treats you for tick infections/co-infections. A major medical center let me leave their facility with an active tick infection. Dr. Kalb found it, and other causes of inflammation and treating me restoring my health. Thank you Dr. Kalb!ou

Our children go to this practice and I've never been happier!! The nurses and doctors work WITH us to do what's best for the children, instead of just throwing pills at us and scooting us out of the office. They listen and are willing to go the extra mile to approach things in different directions. I explicitly trust them with my children. I will never go anywhere else!

There are few physicians that treat Lyme Disease; Dr. Kalb is excellent at it. He has done his research. He listens and takes time to answer all questions before you leave the office. He is also available to answer ?'s via his website. Lots of testing then follows up and gives you a plan of care with the meds and supplements you need. He is always available via Patient Portal, for those who do not live close by and appointments can be made via Skype as well.

Dr. Kalb diagnosed my Lyme Disease after years of searching for answers. He has worked with me over the past three years and I'm almost healed. He is very caring and knowledgeable. If you want a typical doctor that gives you a check-up, prescribes an antibiotic and charges insurance, he is not your guy. However, if you want to get to the bottom of chronic pain and infections, you have found the right place.

Having spent years seeing many other doctors over and over who had no idea how to help me, Dr. Kalb has been the only one to provide real insight and improvement. He was extremely thorough in our first appointment and has been very kind and understanding in every appointment since.

Waited a MONTH to see Dr Kalb to prescribe a medication we asked about SPECIFICALLY before booking the appointment IN PERSON. Paid $250 cash up front since they do not bill insurance. Waited 1hr40min to see a nurse practitioner who said "sorry" they didn't prescribe the medication. She was kind, but the answer was extreemly disappointing since I could have been told that without waiting a month. Dr Kalb didn't even come see me to tell me this. Really disappointed in their practice.

I had suffered for years and spent thousands of dollars on health specialists of all kinds. They all wanted to give me medicine to treat a symptom and then refer me to another specialist. I don't know where I'd be if I had not found Dr. Kalb. He asked tons of questions and took tons of notes. With blood test confirmation, he diagnosed me and I'm on the road to recovery. He created an in depth treatment plan specific to my illness and co-infections. We are grateful.

I'm devastated. I should've listened to my instinct. If it seems too good to be true then it is probably too good to be true. The biggest reason why he doesn't take insurance is probably because insurance companies typically require following treatment guidelines..... Of which he clearly does not do. Be Aware. Phonies will tell you anything you want to hear in order to make an extra buck.

He was insulting, he didn't listen to why I came to see him and the urgency of my need. He had an online forum, but was impatient with me answering questions. He gave me conflicting advice about nutritional supplements and wouldn't prescribe a drug regimen without making another $200. appointment. That's after I paid $250. for the first appointment. The worse doctor I ever encountered in my life!
