Dr. Miller cared for me in Scripps Hospital Encinitas. He took time to listen; more than that, he took time to hear. It didn't take excessive conversation for him to understand my feelings and concerns. As a continually ill patient, he took away my fear.

Dr. Miller is an absolutely WONDERFUL doctor, and someone that I would feel very comfortable in trusting my health - and my life - with. I am my mother's medical power of attorney, and I've been dealing with her health and cognitive issues as she ages for several years now. She was recently admitted to Scripps in San Diego, and under Dr. Miller's care. His willingness to spend the time necessary - while we were on the phone - to fully explain the medical issues at hand, the various care options available, the relative risks and associated benefits inherent with each option, and then his incredible willingness to then LISTEN as I worked through the risk assessment to develop how I thought it would be best to proceed with my mother's care. Once ALL of the information was shared, the proper coarse of action became apparent, and we mutually agreed upon the way forward. I'm 64 years old myself, and I have never had a doctor this responsive to my own needs. Dr. Miller is an absolute gem!!
