Dr. Barrios explained everything about procedure and what to expect after surgery. I had very little pain and very slight discomfort after procedure and would recommend anyone with hernia to see Dr.Barrios.

My issue started as an old scar from twenty six years ago that opened up, got infected, and was mismanaged by another facility. Thankfully I was eventually referred to Dr. Barrios who was able to bring it to a satisfactory conclusion.

When the he told me the experience would be almost pain free, I thought he was joking. I was sore for a day or two and felt normal. Great experience!

Dr. Barrios is such a good man. Easy to communicate with and understand, with a genuine desire to help. His staff are equally kind. Lindsey and Lacie stayed in contact with me and had answers for all of my questions. Nobody wants to have surgery, but if you need it, I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Dr. Barrios is thoughtful, conservative and respectful. He guided me through the process of deciding to have surgery and I always felt he was genuinely concerned for my welfare from start to finish. My surgery did not go as smooth as we wanted, but he communicated options and solutions at every step, especially those first days of aftercare. He was always available and I could not have been in better hands than him.

Very professional. My appointments never felt rushed. Very accommodating in regards to my insurance situation. Surgery recovery was a breeze. Would highly recommend.

The next day post surgery I had a shot in my arm. NO one informed myself or my husband that I received a shot. I called Barrios he was clearly aggravated that I was asking this question because he was BUSY at Church. I went see him in person when I told him my experience him and his nurse thought some parts of the story were funny so they had a good laugh at me. He STILL does not know the SHOT that was given to me! AS my doctor he should be well AWARE of what I received that day. CONSIDERING I clearly was not conscious when I received the shot. Something as simple as a look at my chart to see everything that was given to me that day or a call to the hospital would have been all that was needed. He is not someone that I will EVER use again for that reason.

71 YrOld Male - Left N Right Side Inguinal Hernia repair with Medtronic Mesh via Dr. Barrios using DaVinci robot. One pain pill in recovery room and one pain pill at 7:30pm.; Ice packs used off/on 3 days with Advil during day; Amazing recovery!! Wow!!!

My experience was a very good one. I had double hernia repair and the procedure was flawless and the recovery has been amazing. I was told what to expect post surgery and there were no surprises. I wouldn't even call the recovery painful, only uncomfortable.

Dr.Barrios team and himself are very helpful, and are very kind when it comes to their patients. All my visits were smooth and never had to wait no longer than 15 minutes to be called to the back. Will definitely recommend!
