Had a visit with Dr. Herring on March 14. He is the only doctor I will go to because he listens; he's polite; he doesn't tell me what to do. I Went to a specialist 6 months ago, and will not go back. If Dr. Herring can't handle it, or gets retired, I will do without a doctor! Yes, I feel that strong. I can talk to him openly, and don't get sluffed off; he is not condescending, and he doesn't patronize this older lady.

I have tried for three days to get through by phone to receive a voice mail message that indicates that the phone is "full" so I guess no one is checking voice mail messages for deleting old ones. Have not been able to get through for my mother who is a patiend.

I've been a patient of Dr Herring for over 16 years & have had other, older family members who saw him for years before me. They had complex medical conditions & he was so very kind. He has always taken the time to fully answer my questions & when he thought there was a serious issue- he made sure I got a test/specialist appt immediately! I'm sure there are some whose personalities don't quite mesh with his or his staff- that is why we have the freedom to choose where we go for care. A+ from me

My mother talked often about how she felt dismissed by Dr Herring, that her questions and concerns were not given any time or attention. She was in the process of finding a new doctor. He flippantly told her at her last appt she had A-Fib and then gave her no information or treatment for this serious health issue. I assume he felt having her on a BP medical was enough. We will never know as she had a sudden and fatal heart attack - the kind called a "widow maker". My family feels he failed her

The rudest MD is have ever encountered. He is condescending to nurses and insulting the hospital and facility staff. He seems to care very little for actually providing the best care for patients but rather spend a great amount of time arguing with nursing reports and questions. He should get out of practice.

Can not, for the life of me, understand why a diabetic has to struggle and fight with staff to get a glucose meter. I also don't understand the constant wait and see attitude and lack of follow up. This has now resulted in the need for surgery and months of suffering and loss of quality of life.
