Great doctor
Dr Cheek is an extremely thorough provider! She stays on track with all of your conditions and reminds you when you need preventive services done (tests, annual preventive visits, vaccines, etc.). Four years ago I moved to another state and had to establish with a new PCP and have not received the care with the new PCP that is comparable to Dr Cheek. I had no idea a provider could be so engaged until I met her and she set the bar high for my expectations.

Dr. Cheek is the best!
This is a general recommendation, rather than of a specific appointment. Kim Cheek has been my PCP for more than a dozen years and I have found her to be unfailingly attentive and accurate with my care. She caught a serious cardiac situation and acted quickly. Within 2 weeks I underwent successful carotid artery surgery. She is smart and has never mis-diagnosed me. She has, more than once, caught errors on paperwork from others medical professionls outside the Augusta system. I moved a little further away from Augusta a decade ago, but definitely kept my medical relationship with Dr. Cheek. I recommend her without condition.

I have only seen Dr. Cheek for 3 visits. I keep hoping it will improve. The 2nd. vsit seemed too. The 3rd. left me back at square 1. She did all the talking and each time I tried to ask a question, she replied, " I am going to get to that". I just had 2 Drs. leave the profession or their location after a brief period, so changing Drs. Is not an option that I want to pursue presently. My health problems are complex also, so I am going to try to do my part to help my visits improve, since I know that a trusting relationship between Dr. and patient can take time.

Best Doctor I have ever had. She is very thorough. Dr. Cheek doesn't make you feel bad about your health and is encouraging. She makes the awkwardness of some appointments easy and genuinely expresses care during your visits. I have and will travel over an hour to have her remain my doctor! She and her staff are GREAT! I can't say enough about the care she gives.
