Excellent care
I found the staff in the office extremely kind and helpful. Every procedure was carefully explained. I received excellent care from Dr. David Kay. I had both cataracts removed and new lens inserted in a facility in Scottsdale. Dr Kay and the team at the facility were wonderful. I cannot fault them in anyway. The follow up treatment was very thorough. I am extremely pleased with the outcome.

Dr David Kay is brilliant ophthalmologist surgeon
I highly recommend Arizona Glaucoma Specialists. Dr. David Kay is an excellent eye surgeon. Following my recent cataract surgeries at age 76, I can hardly believe my results; I can see better now than at any time in my life! I have had glaucoma for more than 10 years. At the same time I had my cataract surgeries, Dr. Kay also inserted tiny state-of-the-art eye drains in each eye to lower my eye pressure and prevent further damage. At my last appointment, my eye pressure was normal.Dr. Kay's staff are competent, professional and friendly with great customer service skills. His offices are clean, comfortable and pleasant. In addition to his excellent skills, Dr Kay is a kind and caring doctor.

Dr. David B. Kay
I have been a patient of Arizona Glaucoma in Tucson, Arizona for many years. I was diagnosed with cataracts some time ago and was finally "ready" to have surgery. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. David Kay who made me feel at ease and comfortable with the upcoming procedure. My appointments with Dr. Kay were very educational in that everything was explained in a professional, kind manner. I can see "clearly" now!!I I highly and strongly recommend Dr. David Kay for your "vision" needs. I am sorry to see him leave to go to the Phoenix area...but I know he will address all the needs for those folks in that area with his knowledge and professional, caring manner.

Cataracts surgery
I had a left eye cataracts surgery on February 2022 and right eye surgery in March 2022 by Dr. Kay and follow-ups. Dr. Kay is absolutely wonderful. It was the easiest surgery I’ve ever had. He made me feel very comfortable. Again, Dr. Kay is wonderful!

My visit today was for a follow-up for my last cataract surgery.I was told i am healing well, and can now see my optometrist for reading glasses and possible glasses for distance. He really is a wonderful doctor, and would not hesitate to suggest him if you have glaucoma,and/or cataracts.I have had 4 procedures with this clinic, and all of them were successful. We are fortunate to have him in Tucson.

At the Mesa office I had multiple laser procedures to reduce eye pressure and potential glaucoma development, and a cataract surgery. During the surgery Dr David Kay performed, I experienced what he afterward told me was a complication, although after researching on Google what he described to me, I believe it to have been a preventable surgical accident. My vision was totally blurry. I could see light, color and shape only. He told me that during the surgery he nicked the posterior lens capsule of my eye and the new lens he was attempting to insert in the capsule fell into the vitreous of my eyeball. He immediately referred me to a retina/vitreous specialist, who, a week later, performed a very delicate second surgery on the same eye, successfully removing the vitreous fluid in my eye, retrieving the lens and then attaching a new lens on the sulcus of that eye. My lens capsule is permanently damaged and unusable. The uncertainty of outcome has been scary.

Greets you with a smile and leaves with a smile. Had laser surgery, cataract removal and replacement of eye lenses. Did a wonderful job and my vision is 20/20 now. Very courteous, and professional. Never had a Dr. who called me after surgery the same day to ask me on my condition and if I had any pain. I highly recommend Dr. David B. Kay.

Dr. David Kay performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. I have glaucoma and he addressed the additional issues leading up to cataract surgery with me. Both my cataract surgeries had very good outcomes and Dr. Kay took time to answer all my questions before and after surgery. Besides doing a great job on the surgeries, he is very friendly and conscientious.
