Everything you Could Wish For in a Professional
I have nothing but praise and high regard for Dr. Kessler. A consummate professional who treated me excellently. Always responsive, welcomed questions, easy to get in touch with I don’t think I could have asked for a better surgeon. His staff is also above and beyond the norm in terms of how they treat patients. He goes the extra mile to make his patients feel comfortable.

Excellent Doctor!
Dr. Kessler has been my doctor since 1999. 3 ablations, a pacemaker implant, two battery replacements and his level of care and expertise has not wavered. He takes the time to explain the situation, does not bulldoze me into taking decisions, and I know I can always go to him with my issues.

Over 18 years ago, Dr. Kessler performed an Atrial Defib on me at AUstin Heart Hospital. The operation was very complex and took over 7 hours. They ran into some complications, but Dr. Kessler pretty much saved me. Fast forward to today (I am Male 61) my heart has NEVER been better. it did take about a year for everything to get back to normal after the operation, but I can say that while no one wants to be "under the knife", this was THE best decision I ever made. The staff was extremely competent. Dr. Kessler was phenomenal . No more rapid heart beat - no more COMA, no more weird sensations. I am able to do anything and everything I want. Best Electrician I have ever met. If I could rate him 100 stars, I would.

After the pacemaker was implanted by Dr. Kessler, the following week, I met with his nurse and medical technician that confirmed the pacemaker was working perfectly and the transmissions were verified. We had one small issue which was one end of the incision did not heal properly. Within another week, all was good. I was very impressed with the medical team, the professionalism, thoroughness, competency, how well they listened, and the care they gave me overall. Dr. Kessler then reviewed the incision and the pacemaker and was pleased with the outcome. I now have a followup visit on the 16th of June and believe all will be good. Now the interesting part: The medical technician helped me set up an app on my iPhone which communicates to the monitoring system. I can see everything on the Medtronics app and do not need a monitor controller at my bedside at night, only my iPhone. This make is so convenient and easy to use.

Dr. Kessler did my heart action almost four years ago! I go to him once a year or if I have a problem. I like his style...does not over-treat which I like. I have confidence in what he tells me. He also replies in a very timely manner to questions thru the portal. I like that he is my Doc!

Dr. Kessler is a highly competent, very capable, and personable physician. In a sense he is a minimalist and does not believe in over-treating a patient or prolonging visits or hospital stays, which is something I value very much. He has been my cardiac specialist for around two years, and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to see him. I give him my highest recommendation!

Dr Kessler is very polite and professional. He takes the time to listen to your questions. He explained the options for my heart issues. He referred me to a fine heart specialist, Dr Wetherold, to check my A-Fib thoroughly with TEE, and then shocked my heart back into the proper rhythm. Dr Wetherold was very professional and polite to both my wife & me about the future for my heart and further treatments.
