No response after paged the doctor
It is my 3rd day after surgery. Still in a lot of pain and strange numbness. Pain killers are about to run out and I cannot get a hold of the doctor or nurse. Left VMs to their Dr paging system with no call back. Office does not answer calls, all goes to VM. I have no idea what to do???

The office staff at this office are fantastic and easy to work with. My biggest issue is that I have a high deductible plan and I pay full price for every visit and I want my money's worth from each appointment. At my last appointment with this doctor he literally spent no more than 5 seconds with me and shooed me out the door. It was clear he hadn't even read my chart. He didn't know the location of my concern or anything about it. I was told in the hallway, with patients seeing and listening, that I needed more invasive tests in addition to the numerous tests I had already. There was no concern how much this has already cost me and my EOB sent me a preliminary report that he charged me over $200 for the 5 seconds of time he spent with me. This is simply unacceptable.

I researched for quite awhile to find a good Doctor for my problem. I asked one of my best Doctors for a referral and came up with the same person. Dr. David Napoliello, I can say have complete confidence in him. Please know that it is not easy to pick a Winner with so many medical people in the area.

Cannot recommend this surgeon.   I had athletic abilities.  Needed a simple procedure on my leg – a mesh for a femoral hernia that I was born with.  Hernias are one of the most common surgeries. He claimed to have experience. Yet his surgery left me with an infection, nerve damage, and with an extraordinary loss of muscle tissue that he removed from my leg, somewhat excessively and unnecessarily. David Napoliello left me debilitated, in pain, and yet said I did not need physical therapy.  Two years later, I'm still in pain and still have very limited mobility in my leg, despite going for P.T. on my own.  To top it off, he double billed me.  Charged my insurance company and me separately, so he could be paid twice.  I'm sure he does this to everyone.  Stay away from this guy.

Dr. Napoliello is one of my favorite doctors/surgeons. He has done 2 surgeries on me, the first when called to come immediately. He was highly recommended by my primary docs, and I can understand why. I think he is brilliant, and able to talk shop so that patients can comprehend.

Competent, to-the-point, just what you want in a surgeon. Front desk was a bit brusque. Workmanlike. Could’ve been a bit friendlier. This contact person sets the mood. Not bad, just not great. Otherwise there’d have been five stars for this practice.

I thought Dr.Napoliello was short with me on our first visit. No smile rushed appointment. After surgery he was much different. He smiled and answered most of my questions. On the third visit he asked about my diagnosis and if I had seen an oncologist yet. He had to break the news to me that I had cancer.

Dr. Napoliello is THE BEST doctor I have ever been to. I’m 57 & have had health issues since I was 17 so I’ve been to a lot of doctors! He is calm, cool, professional and caring. He listens carefully, answers in understandable terms, is prompt, and has a soothing bedside manner. Some say they would rather have expertise over personality. With Doctor Napoliello you get both. He performed two surgeries on me. I can’t express enough gratitude to him for what he did for me. Five stars!

My GERD was not good and a Nissen was recommended. Severe pain in abdomen from the start and when I contacted him after a serious concern was noted by my gastro in an endoscopy follow-up, he simply said not to worry. The follow-up office visit also was characterized as "not to worry". I even tried to get in quicker but could not due to his scheduling, then passed 90 days from surgery and he still charged me co-pay. Then, no calls or follow-up to check on my pain. Hugely disappointed.

There is not enough I an say about how Dr Napoliello changed my life. After living with acid reflux and GERD for as long as I can remember, I am finally free of it. He is very thorough, very knowledgeable and a nice man to top it off. The team at Venice regional Bayfront health where the procedure was done was top notch also. best hospital experience ever; clean, kind, efficient, perfect!

Scandalous practice, no care for the patient condition regardless of the pain. A small procedure for a pilodinal cyst was needed. After telling us over the phone that it could be done at the office, they declined it, charged us and sent us home with antibiotics, ignoring my wife crying out of pain. We had to go to the ER! And they never called the prescription in! Scandalous and insufficient! they also declined me talking to the dr because my wife did authorized it, but was never given a form!

Dr Napoliello is a terrific doctor and surgeon! I got my life back because of him. After years of rectal bleeding and I mean years, all the pre-op testing for cancer came back negative. I had two stage three hemmoroids, another stage 1 hemmoroid and one external hemmoroids. Thanks to doctor Napoliello and his team,I am no longer anemic, hemoglobin is normal and going back to work after four short weeks! I can't thank him enough for him helping me get my life back! Thanks Doc you are the greatest

This Doctor has no regard for patient's time. The first appointment with him I waited two hours for be seen for only 5 minutes. The follow-up appointment from surgery, I waited over an hour. Today I waited over 45 minutes before getting frustrated an walking out. My time is too valuable to be sitting in his waiting room and exam room. I would never recommend this Doctor to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. David Napoliello is my first experience with a surgeon, surgery and a hospital. Although I (76) have no comparison to other surgeons, my experience has been an excellent one with both David and the office staff. Everything was handled professionally, correctly and without undue pressure to register for surgery. I chose Dr. Napoliello based on these reviews and his experience with gallbladder removal. I found him to be a no nonsense factual professional, the way I like it. Highly recommended!

Dr. Napoliello is the perfect package - a skilled and gifted surgeon and a caring human being who shows kindness and respect for each of his patients. He did my breast cancer surgery last October and a friend referred him to me after an interview with a surgeon who had not read my biopsy pathology report and grew tired of my questions. Cancer treatment is an educational process, not just a technical one. I think of him as "teaching doctor" not a "just trust me" doctor. Office staff is great too.

Dr. Napoliello and his staff, Sarah and Ruth are fantastic. He really takes time to explain everything to you and answer any questions that you may have. Dr. Napoliello is extremely talented with his laparoscopic technique. I was feeling great, and able to return to my job as a physical therapist just 1 week post-op (no heavy lifting of course!!) Thank you so much Dr. Napoliello, Sarah, and Ruth for a great medical experience!!
