My husband was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer. He was being treated by a large Hematology/Oncology practice in Stuart, FL along with thousands of other cancer patients. We decided to try to visit our 2nd home in Little Torch Key and looked for a chemo infusion possibility in Key West. BOY are we glad we did! Dr. Nyberg arranged an initial consultation, the staff took care of our insurance, and we were able to have chemo in a beautiful SMALL setting over looking the gorgeous water, with a kind of personal service we did not know existed! We liked Dr. Nyberg and Angela (Frank's infusion nurse) SO MUCH that we decided to transfer Frank's care to Dr. Nyberg and moved to our Little Torch Key house to continue with 21st Century Oncology. Dr. Nyberg also has a close connection with Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa and sent us there for additional consultation. Dr. Nyberg has really LISTENED to us. He discussed our lifestyle, our finances & OUR HOPES in dealing with cancer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I visited David Nyberg for a simple follow up discussion of a successful diagnosis from my home state and during which time no procedures were necessary or even recommended. My first visit took place in the waiting room when he asked that I return for a second visit. I was charged almost $1000, and despite an investigation from my insurance company who agreed it was exorbitant thought it best to simply let the matter go.
