Dr. David Shore, MD

I don’t often write reviews, but I made an exception for this one because Dr. Shore is fantastic, and I am so incredibly grateful to him. I came to Dr Shore after being misdiagnosed at another practice, and I had been suffering in extreme pain for a while. Dr. Shore turned the situation around immediately. He got me in for an appointment the day after I contacted his office. He gave me the correct diagnosis, told me I would need a minimum of 2 procedures, and clearly explained all of my options. I’m extremely nervous about medical procedures, and Dr. Shore was very kind and comforting through everything. He performed the 2 surgeries and resolved my issues efficiently and effectively. I highly recommend Dr. Shore, he is an excellent doctor who truly goes above and beyond.

I found Dr Shore to be an outstanding urologist that helped me solve a kidney stone issue that another urologist did not. He is very detail oriented and focused on solving your problem in a way that works best for you. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Back in 2017, I had a Cystoscopy done as I had frequent trips to the bathroom. After this exam, which was most uncomfortable, he was quick to opt to perform a Turp procedure for an enlarged prostate, with little explanation possible complications. I had urination issues after the surgery and went to another Urologist at a different Hospital Group and performed the same Cystoscopy with little discomfort and was told I have now have scar tissue that is now causing the partial blockage.

Thanks to Dr. Shore's snap opinion "Let's do a TURP" -- without any diagnostics other than a slightly elevated PSA, I was forced to educate myself and learn what a terrible doctor he is. There's websites with men who have had these issues and discuss what works for them. When I asked about alternatives, he rejected them out of hand. I guess he makes more money on doing TURPs? Or is too lazy to learn new less harmful, less invasive procedures? I have found a new URO who is not so trigger happy

I would not recommend Dr. Shore's office. Last Wednesday I gave a urine sample at 8am. I heard absolutely nothing from the Dr. Shores office until I called on Monday to ask about results. I have a UTI. I HAD TO CALL THEM to get the results. Told me that the culture came back on Saturday but it "didn't come across the doctors desk" until monday afternoon. This is negligence.

I was a patient of Dr. Shore's for about 3.5 years, during which I was regularly treated for kidney stones. Dr. Shore provided excellent care - previous doctors have been difficult to get a hold of or required long wait times for appointments or procedures. Dr. Shore often made himself available by phone to answer questions, and I rarely had to schedule an appointment or procedure more than a couple weeks ahead. He was extremely helpful in explaining everything to me. Highly recommend.

I will never see Dr. shore again. He was arrogant and did not make me feel safe or certain. he was cocky, negative and told me a previous doctor who diagnosed me was wrong when he had not even done any testing to prove that she was wrong. His assistant Lori screwed up a date that was set for a procedure that was going to be done with three other surgeons. lack of communication in that office with her. I was never able to speak to him after my appointment. the worst $35.00 co-pay I have ever paid
