Dr Spiro was amazing and listened to my issues . I had a previous back surgery with another Dr that was unsuccessful . I did a second consultation with Dr Spiro and he saw issues that explained why I was still in pain . I needed a more intense second surgery but I do feel great now and I’m thankful I advocated and didn’t just stay with a Dr that didn’t want to listen to me . Excellent surgeon, hold times when calling the office is awful but he’s great .

No more pain.
I had compressed nerves in my lower spine from discs and fragments. Doctor Spiro listened to me carefully and I appreciated his attitude. He was confident in his skill set without being cocky. My pain level was at times unbearable. It went away immediately. I woke up from surgery with no pain.

Where Medicine and Art meet
My entire experience with Dr. David Spiro, his Colleagues, and Staff was superb. Dr. Spiro is attentive, and so very focused. His treatment was absolutely thoughtful and intuitive toward my concerns and well being. Medicine and Art meet; with knowledge, skill, advanced technology and fine 'rendering' at his hands.

Getting My Life Back
Dr. Spiro, the medical and office team, are incredible. I have many medical issues. They are always helpful, take their time, listen and provide the best care. When I needed x-rays or MRIs the office made sure to assists with setting up the procedures. In a 7 month window I had to have 2 separate spinal fusions. Each one was handled professional, explained so everyone knew what was going to occur, and answered all our questions.

Confident
I was in excruciating pain, I had 2 ruptured discs in my L4, L5. I was referred to him by another doctor at Trinity Health. So, after meeting with him, I felt a great sense of relief, just because it was initially neck pain and thought i had to have neck surgery. He reassured me that he would take no action without knowing what was really going on. Long story short, he was Confident he could help me, and he did. It's coming up on a year, and no pain on my right side. I can say "Thank you Dr. Spiro".

Not a patient of Dr. Spiro but while visiting his office on professional business per court order the receptionist threw the documents I left there back at me. I explained that their legal department instructed me to leave these documents at that office but they still behaved in an incredibly unprofessional manor. Glad I’m not a patient and dealing with those people.

Changed my life
Had serious sciatic nerve pain for months. Unable to do the simplest things. Dr. Spiro and his team were fantastic, after an extensive surgery, I feel great. My pain is now gone and walking 2 miles a day 2 weeks after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Spiro’s opinion for any type of back issues.

Dr. Spiro and his team gave me my life back. After living with severe back pain for years while undergoing alternative treatments for my degenerative disk disease I finally decided to have disk fusion surgery. I was walking within a couple of hours after the procedure and went home the next morning. There was minimal pain and the physical therapy was not bad at all. The hardest part was being patient and not rushing back to my normal routine. I went kayaking last week for the first time in 5 years and am starting back with my workouts and swimming. The follow-up care was excellent and the staff went above and beyond expectations by helping me with my Social Security paperwork and insurance issues.

I have had both lumbar fusion and cervical fusion with Dr. Spiro this year. I’m extremely happy with the results, the hospital, and Dr Spiro’s efficient and compassionate staff. He and Sherry both explain things so they can be easily understood and picked up on things that were missed with consultations with other doctors. I highly recommend his practice.

Spiro and his team I am now 4 years out and Despite All Odds of walking again I am up and about even driving and doing small errands. I went back to him for a baclofen pump implant and then again back to him for lumbar surgery just a week ago. I would go nowhere else dr. Spiro is absolutely top notch
