Out of Touch
Dr, Tobey is out of touch with the latest research in his craft. I am not your typical patient. I went to med school and studied up extensively on my condition. I came in from out of town to see Dr. Tobey because I could not get an immediate appointment anywhere else. He was not up to date on the latest treatment for my condition and had not even heard of the one treatment I thought I was a candidate for. He would rather prescribe addictive benzodiazepines than get me the treatment I need. Being insistent I needed aggressive treatment, he referred me to another doctor in his practice. That doctor was a complete joke, refusing to accommodate the fact I was coming in from out of town. This entire practice symbolizes our broken medical system.

Dr. Tobey is THE BEST!! He has treated our family - including grandchildren - for 35 years and we will only go to him. He has been a lifesaver for my adult special needs son - since he was two years old. Dr. Tobey is highly-skilled, very smart, dedicated to his patients, and loving/caring to all. He has earned “Best Doctor” awards and status for multiple years. Love him!

I was referred to Dr. Toby by a friend how has been one of his patient's for years. My check-in as a new patient was easy and the staff was great. I was ushered back quickly and Dr. Toby was in within a few minutes. He was very pleasant and very detailed in my assessment. I appreciate he spent the time to talk to me and be interested in my concerns with my ear. Even though it was bit of a drive for me to his location, it was well worth the time. Thanks Dr. Toby and team.

Dr. Tobey is by far the best and kindest ENT I’ve ever seen. I’ve a bunch having a lifetime of throat issues. He is smart, open-minded, he really listens, he’s understanding, and mostly, he actually heals! Dr. Tobey is what a doctor is supposed to be.

This doctor lacks basic speaking, empathy and listening skills. His lack of attention for the patient resulted in poor medical care

Dr. Tobey saved my life. I have been a patient of his since I was 7 years old, and am nearly 30 now. I have have always had severe sinus issues since I was a child. Dr. Tobey is the reason I am living a happy, comfortable life now free from my severe allergy problems and complications. He has performed every one of my sinus surgeries. He is gentle, listens to you, extremely intelligent and highly effective in his treatments. Thank you, Dr. Tobey!

I had an earache and extreme vertigo. I wanted relief. What I got was an hour long hearing eval by an audiologist. Dr. Tobey saw me for under 5 minutes (say ahh). No tx for the earache, refused to perform Epleys maneuver to alleviate my vertigo, referred me to PT at a different location. Left with exactly the complaints I arrived with and was charged out the kazoo. Money grubbing quack.

I've seen Dr. Tobey twice, and both times ended up in surgery. Once was for chronic tonsil stones and adenoid removal which increased my quality of life by a lot. The second was when my nose was broken and had to be surgically fixed. He is awesome, very gentle and explains things well. Never makes you feel dumb and actually listens to what you have to say. The office staff are quite fun, I really do like them. My one complaint about the office is the ridiculous wait that sometimes occurs.

Very attentive doctor and really gentle when examining me. I came in for recurring sinus infections and he did not once made me feel like any of my pain was in my head. We sat and talked about different options I could explore and I finally asked about surgical options. Dr. Tobey performed my surgery this past Wednesday and I am very pleased with the results. The pain has lessened a lot and the recovery was overall quick. His office is also very quick about calling me back.
