Love Dr. Earp
Dr. Earp is so sweet and caring. He’s such a good listener and he doesn’t make you feel like your issues aren’t important. I love that he doesn’t just want to throw meds at you and actually suggests lifestyle or dietary changes. It used to take awhile to get responses in the portal but with his new nurse, that hasn’t been an issue. He is also very kind and helpful.

Dr. Earp does not care a bit about his patients. He just delegates and does not even review carefully the test results. He delays thesending the results more than 2 weeks after receiving them. And clearly does not even read them and give the attention needed to sensitive matters. Avoid this low end doctor. He must not even practice. Having him as a PCP puts your health in danger.

Avoid this doctor
I have been a patient here for more than 15 years. Today I was denied a an appointment even though I have one for my annual physical in July. Was told they could get back to me tomorrow but would not make an appointment for me without talking to the doctor first. This is not the first time I have experienced questionable treatment. Warning yo stay clear if this practice

Great Dr. but response times are ridiculous on por
Dr. Earp is always welcoming. Tries to get you the best treatment necessary and truly seems like he cares. But.... once you leave the office it's a fiasco trying to get messages replied to in the pt portal. Days to return messages. Refills not refilled after requests are sent. Every single prescription refill takes well over a week to get filled after my initial request. I have to send a new message every few days. I have to request these refills monthly since they are only a 30 day supply, but since they don't respond timely, I am always out of my meds for 1-2 weeks every month. Ridiculous.

Looking for a new PCP – Jan 05, 2024

Ex Patient
I had a bad experience due to medical insurance coverage reflecting inactive per office staff member. I called insurance company who verified coverage with staff member. Because the office could not bill that day I was given an option to pay $216.00 for office visit. I wanted visit billed since I knew insurance would pay but that was not an option. Money was more important than my health. Due to office staff member I will be searching for another PCP. She is to blame for my decision and the reason I will no longer remain as Dr.'s Earp's patient.

Excellent every time I have been there. I have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes from my scheduled appointment. At other doctors you can wait up to an hour or more from your scheduled appointment. He is absolutely the best primary physician I have ever had. Also, I have never had any problems with any of his staff. They have always been very courteous and accommodating.

I agree with many of the other comments. I have only seen Dr. Earp once because I usually see the nurse practitioner. There are almost always long waits and then a rushed visit for a charge of $225+. Constant problems with getting medications refilled, getting a person on the phone and the person who handles the prescription refills when you ever do speak to someone was really rude. I have not experienced any proactive care with them.

Dr. Earp is the greatest doctor I have ever met! Unfortunately the staff around him are rude, nasty and don't care about patient care. Its a shame that the staff around him including his nurse affect his reviews and therefor the service. We pay $2000 a month for insurance and have to wait weeks before getting in for an appointment

Dr. Earp is a great doctor, but his internal staff SUCKS. Rude, petty, and unresponsive. No call backs on my wife’s Urine culture, results. She found out she had an infection when Walmart text her that her prescription was ready. Katy, supposedly his nurse practitioner, gets butt hurt and arrogant if you call out the issues in the office. I am going to personally make sure Dr. Earp gets this information even if I have to Fedex a letter to his home. I have seen people like Katy in my career, she thinks she is the Doctor - power trip. This trait seems all too common with women in these positions!!!!!

Never reviewed a doctor but our experience was continually bad, bad, bad!!! They treated our family for years but ultimately we had to find a new practice. We gave a ton of leeway but in the end had to accept reality. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

They have terrible patient care. I called in a script last Wednesday. I called 3 times yesterday and they put me on their ‘call list’. I’m leaving town today and still haven’t gotten a call back or my script. I won’t be back until sat. They’ll be closed the weekend and probably Xmas eve and Xmas. This isn’t the first time this has happened. They obviously could care less about their patient care!

Dr. Earp’s staff is unresponsive, unprofessional and petty. After waiting more than a week for them to respond to a prescription request from the pharmacy (a longstanding problem), I complained to Dr. Earp and informed him that I would be finding a new doctor and requested a final appt. Instead of scheduling the appt as requested, I was sent a certified letter and lied to by the office manager, Melissa. No transitional support provided. Terrible standard of care. There are better options.

The absolute worst. Dr. Earp is a good doctor, but the rest of the entire organization is either incompetent, uncaring, and even vengeful. This goes way past unreturned calls folks. He was my Dr for the three years my wife and I had HMO. We upgraded to PPO this year at an additional $300 per month just to get a decent primary doctor. We had zero confidence in his staff to adequately refer us should we have a real health issue. Fortunately, my former doctor took us back.

I LOVE Dr. Earp, and the PA's I and my family have seen. However, the staff isn't always so friendly. I have spoken with a Sylvia on several occasions, and she acts like a bill collector. She is rude, and when I was inquiring about a $50 no show fee, which I had discussed with someone else, she didn't want to hear it. I asked if we should find another MD because we were having these issues, she said we could if we felt like it. She is very unprofessional, and is the ONLY reason I would leave.

We just moved across the country to San Antonio and after doing some digging (because of my son) I found Dr Earp. He is awesome! I was very impressed. My husband went with us to our 4 month olds appt and my husband was\is impressed with him. This takes a lot because he HATES doctors (not the person, just their job.). I was not only impressed with the doctor but also with the fact that my husband liked him so much. Our daughters (5 &8) were there and really liked him too!
