My mom was an ICU patient under this doctor’s care during the pandemic. She was ventilated, so the only way we could advocate for her or be informed about her condition was to wait for the doctor’s phone call since we were not allowed to visit. This doctor was short and blatantly rude to me and my family when we asked questions, and addressed us with disdain when we dared to ask questions. He was completely unempathetic that we had a dying family member in the ICU. We were desperately trying to seek answers to make an informed decision in regard to my mom’s care, but he was apathetic and irritated with us. Did he just expect we would let our mom die in the hospital alone, no questions asked? I will never forget a text my mom sent me shortly before her death—“the Dr is angry” in reference to this egotistic, rude a-hole who thinks he is a god. My mom was SO sick, and to think she had a doctor that treated her and our family so atrociously still haunts me. He should NOT have a license.
