NOT for Oesteoporosis
Although he listened and explained my diagnosis and treatment, he did NOT do the proper bone marker blood work for the drug he prescribed. He also did NOT tell me or schedule any follow up blood work for safety issues with the drug. He said, "I'll see you in a year". Sadly I found out 3 months into treatment which is NOT ideal to know if the treatment is working and if it is the proper drug for me. When I called and question him and his assistant, I was told they've been doing it this way for 14 years. The drug has only been approved for a few years. When I questioned that, I was told that is the way they "do things". The pharmacy company plus 2 other bone health drs were very concerned with the noblest of care and knowledge!

He is the worst doctor I have ever encountered! He is extremely rude and arrogant and treats everyone as if they are beneath him. He will sit for literally almost 20-25 minutes after he enters the room, refusing to talk to the patient, while looking at his computer and typing (SLOWLY). Then he will talk in circles, all while never giving a clear diagnoses and get visibly annoyed when you have a question or need clarification on one of his rambling statements. His condescending nature is quite comical, actually, because he seems to not have a large base of knowledge or any intelligent answers to any questions you may ask. The ONLY nice thing I can say is that the rest of the staff here seem very competent and friendly. If you book an appointment at Raleigh Endocrine, I would highly recommend asking to see any of the other physicians there besides "Dr" Becker.

I have a Thyroid Disease. I have been in better control with more frequent monitoring since seeing Dr. Becker. The severity of the signs & symptoms I was experiencing has greatly decreased & my weight is closer to my normal baseline weight I had for a lifetime before I became sick. Majority of visits have been very timely. I have had 1 visit in years where I had an extended wait & did not get my lab work I needed because the lab had closed & I had to seek lab work another day.

He listened to my concerns. My blood work was always in the low end of the normal range, therefore most doctors would not even address it. I appreciated his concern with my symptoms and not focusing only on labs.

I have been a patient for 6 years, and Dr. Becker's knowledge and expertise in the practice of Thyroid disorders is excellent, and his patient care attributes are caring, concerned, and very easy to talk to. I would highly recommend him. The waiting time with a scheduled appt. can be longer than I would like, but he takes all the time necessary to discuss your concerns, and when he is late with my scheduled appt., it is more than likely because he is doing the same for others.

This rating is for Dr. Becker. As a person who has spent a lot of time in various doctor's offices, I can honestly say that I've never had a worse experience with a medical professional. So bad that I broke down in tears during my visit. First, there is no question that the electronic medical records system is ruining healthcare in America in general. (It's one among many things doing so, but still.) Dr. Becker takes electronic medical records to a whole new level. He was so obsessed with writ

I have been going to Dr. Becker for 9 years now. I am 64 years old and have the most confidence in him than any other medical professional I have gone to. I like that he starts each appointment with asking me about any updates, how I am feeling and if anything has changed before he looks at my lab results. He does not let the data drive the conclusion. Rather, he reviews how I feel first and then interprets the data. He is thorough, knowledgeable and clearly enjoys his work. His walls are cov

I saw Dr. Becker today and was reminded of how much confidence I have in his medical services. I am new to Medicare and he and his staff were very helpful in "jumping through the hoops" required by Medicare. Dr. Becker has always responded to me as a partner in my treatment and that is important to me. He explains things very well. The staff have also been knowledgeable and friendly. They have made living with Type I diabetes less stressful than it might have been. My thanks to everyone!

The wait times are unacceptable. I had to cancel an appointment because they were running over 2 hours behind. I rescheduled for the first appointment of the day and still had to wait 20 minutes to be called back, then another 20 minutes for the doctor. I'm sure they are perfectly competent but I am looking for a new doctor.

I had been seeing Dr. Becker for almost 4 years. I found him to be difficult and dismissive. He may have been a great doctor at one time, but not anymore. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and we changed my medication several times due to my insistence. I was not feeling any better and my weight continued to increase, even after consultation with a nutrionist. I finally changed doctors and learned that I have had Hashimoto Autoimmune antibodies present in my tests for the past 2 years.

I've tried asking questions to get a better understanding on what was going on with me overall. He spoke to me in a demeaning way. I am looking for someone that will take time to listen and answer questions.
